AI stay in boat

AI stay in boat after "transport unload"

i made mission in which you are among desanted soldiers on enemy territory

crew is "this moveindriver boat1"

crew is not in team with caro, because crew has to give fire support to soldiers fighting on the beach

but cargo "this move incargo" don't want to get out

they have get out point, crew of boat has transport unload

but cargo stays in boat

when player gets out - he gets order 2 get in boat

so "get out" waypoint not work in boat ?

with car it works :/

i was angry that i couldn't do D-Day mission because AI gets out in middle of sea and loose weapons

now in 1.07 AI gets out only if team is driver

if team is just cargo transport it is now working :/

edit: untill i was making just addons i had no idea about AI

now when i make missions my nerves are at war:

AI do not obey order "don't fire" and starts firing ignoring 3-2 order, so mission like "you have 2 soldiers, crawl into enemy base unseen" is impossible because AI starts to fire at guard

how can i do my missions when AI behaves completly different than in OFP ?

i made few missions like that in OFP and all was good

crew :

waypoints:

load, unload transport

cargo:

get in, get out

Boat unload bug was reported back in the days, it was reported as fixed. Haven´t tested though.

Use hold fire, with don´t fire they will fire as soon as they are either shot upon or judge enemy presence as a high threat.

I thought there was still a bug that prevented boats from entering shallow water, to be fixed in 1.07.

Read something about this on bugtracker and a fix...

I'm not sure why it's bad that AI behaves different in ArmA from OFP...

But if you mean that some things are broken/not working, then I agree with you that those things need to be fixed smile_o.gif
