ran 0 Posted February 8, 2002 who has ever been in salt lake city ? it's the capital of a religion ... can't remember the name ..... about 70% of the population of salt lake city is in this religion drinking alcohol , tea or coffe is prohibited in this city , and you can drink alcohol in the bars only if you have a special card it will be difficult for the sportsmen to celebrate victories ......... so , here are my question : - will you follow the olympics events at the tv ? - wich olympics do you prefer : winter or summer ones ? - what is your favourite winter sport ? Die Alive 0 Posted February 9, 2002 Ok, here's the lowdown on drinking in Salt Lake City (or Utah, for that matter). First, what we know as bars or pubs aren't allowed in Utah, they're called Social Clubs. These clubs, in order to get in, you got to have a membership. To buy a membership, it's like from $5.00 US to $50.00 US depending on the bar and how long the membership is for (yearly or weekly\monthly). The only stuff that can be served is beer that can't be more than 3.1% alcohol. I say stay home and drink the beer at home. -=Die Alive=-
