winter olympics begin in about 2 hours

Recommended Posts

who has ever been in salt lake city ?

it's the capital of a religion ... can't remember the name .....

about 70% of the population of salt lake city is in this religion

drinking alcohol , tea or coffe is prohibited in this city , and you can drink alcohol in the bars only if you have a special card

it will be difficult for the sportsmen to celebrate victories .........

so , here are my question :

- will you follow the olympics events at the tv ?

- wich olympics do you prefer : winter or summer ones ?

- what is your favourite winter sport ?

xtreme games are the best way to brake a leg or an arm

and the "sportsmen" who practise extreme games are the best only because they create themselves their own rules

i want real performances , not a junky-skateboard-jumper

Ok, here's the lowdown on drinking in Salt Lake City (or Utah, for that matter).

First, what we know as bars or pubs aren't allowed in Utah, they're called Social Clubs. These clubs, in order to get in, you got to have a membership. To buy a membership, it's like from $5.00 US to $50.00 US depending on the bar and how long the membership is for (yearly or weekly\monthly). The only stuff that can be served is beer that can't be more than 3.1% alcohol. I say stay home and drink the beer at home.

HAVE YOU SEEN THE OPENING CEREMONY confused.gifconfused.gif??

1 hour about the cowboys and the far-west history without any allusion to the olympism

the indian dances were very good

and , in the first part , i loved watching all the delegation , one after one in alphabetical order

i loved to watch the small ones like the republic of moldova wich are represented in only one sport

did you know that the france participate to all the sports ?
