Guest RKSL-Rock Posted April 12, 2007 HEMTT A3? Likely the same thing as Ironsight; but "M1977 CBT" carrying a Combat Support Boat http://www.primeportal.net/m1977/m1977_load_csb.htm
Messiah 2 Posted April 12, 2007 was going to say the same as rockape [M1977 Combat Bridge Transporter but kitted with the XM14 IBC (Improved Boat Cradle)] but the picture looks like a different vehicle: different cab shape, different light cluster, only 2 wheels at the rear, rather than 3 on the pic etc. will keep searching
Ironsight 1 Posted April 12, 2007 It's an HEMTT, that's for sure. Is it one with the new ArmorHoldings cab?

da12thMonkey 1943 Posted April 12, 2007 It's made by TATRA, don't know the name of it though. Czech army are getting them AFAIK. There's a video of the 4x4 and 8x8 version here: http://www.offroadtrucks.com.au/buttons/download2meg-off.jpg Pic of the 4x4 on army.cz website: The 4x4's called TATRA Medium Off-road Truck according to that site. This one maybe Heavy Off-road Truck? I think the Boat's a Support Laminated Boat (RUSB). http://www.army.cz/scripts/detail.php?id=6090

The one in your picture is a medium version marked as "Tatra 815-7BOR72". Anyway nice catch, I think the turn is yours  Pdf with more pics: http://www.tatra.cz/cz/down/sedmicka_CZ.pdf
da12thMonkey 1943 Posted April 12, 2007 Thanks for that pdf. That one was tough mate, I couldn't find the name of those models anywhere, just details of their purchase and articles describing the technology behind them. Looks like a nice truck. Alright, my turn again. This one's easy so I'd like a fairly a specific answer, or a description of what's special about it. btw Rock, you're barred from answering this one. -ZG-BUZZARD 0 Posted April 12, 2007 It's a SEPECAT Jaguar... and from what I gather, XX765 was an ACT, which me thinks means Active Control Technology... which makes sense, due to the strange wing extensions towards the front, which are absent from normal SEPECAT Jaguars... Plus it seems to have incorporated Fry-By-Wire controls instead of the normal controls... Edit: And here it is!
da12thMonkey 1943 Posted April 12, 2007 That's the sort of answer I was looking for. Good stuff.
