AIMBOT???

Hi All!

My clan called "Kompaniet" or [OFK] is accused of using AIMBOT in OFP, that must be the dumbest thing i hever heard because we are a clan that playing OFP allmost everyday and have good communication with each other while we playing OFP does that make us a cheating clan. Its only because we are the leaders of our ladder "The Combat Zone" and have only lost 1 game of 12 played thats why people are starting to call us cheaters, hopefully some1 here could sort this out once for all and tell me that there are no thing called AIMBOT in OFP that makes u hit people without aiming at them. If there is such thing in OFP then im gonna stop playing this LOVELY game, because thats why i love this game u dont have this kind of freedom to run everywhere on a map and jump in to any vehicles u find and drive or fly away and the most important thin that you cannot cheat.

Anyways, an aimbot is very possible.

FADE only degrates a MP game over a period of at least 20 minutes.

So people are safe to use cheats and trainers for a little while in MP.

I've never heard of FADE killing OPF in any less than 20 minutes.

An aimbot wouldnt work in OFP. because the concept of an aimbot is to target the mouse on a specific area. In ofp, mousemovement doesnt work as other fps. This means that any aimbot would begin to shoot before the aim reached its target. Recoil would then mean that you wouldnt hit anything.

Thats not the worst (best actually) part. In OFP, player models would be really hard to distinguish from other things on a mission. This is due to camuflage. The aimbot simply cant see the difference betwean humans and bushes/trees.

You cant even make it aim on the head, because you can all have differen face-skins.

An aimbot works with custom models.  Usually.

Only in CS have I seen an aimbot work without custom, highlighter-colored models.

In OPF, all you have to do is hex edit away the custom green in the uniforms into bright red.

Then make the aimbot shoot at anything that's bright red.

If the recoil gets too far away from the color, the gun will stop shooting.

Aimbots don't get confused by camouflage because they don't "look" for enemies, they inspect the packets that are exchanged or the game's internal list of objects and positions, and are thus always aware of where the players are, and whether they are visible or behind walls etc.

A traditional Aimbot would likely not take advantage of the ability to shoot at enemies that merely are conceiled, but have no cover, i.e. they would not shoot at someone behind either a bush or a wall, while the person behind the bush would not actually be protected from fire.

But in Opf Aimbot would ruin everything (he one who looks after the enemy) Cause everybody being bright red IT DESTROYS all the fun all the reality... I don't need cheats in OPF the only thing i need is a Helo and everybody should start running or driving or flying if they prefer.

Anyways encrypting the packages would only work until they are decrypted damn what was i thinking.

I won't cheat on MP games, I haven't thinked to sink that deep.

What i meant that is there anything like AIMBOT in OFP or is it possible to have such a cheat?. I have NEVER cheated to win and i will never cheat. The thing thats make me angry is that as soon as somebody is good they must be accused of cheating. Im not a specialist at this game but when im playing with my clan we all nows what to do and we train tactics alot

do that make us cheaters? So for the 3rd time i want BIS developers to say to me that its not possible to have such thing in OFP.

Most games that have aim-bot cheats have either a console or auto-aim as a scalable difficulty option i.e Rogue Spear so the traditional route for aimbots is shut off.

Fetishfool you are very wrong, in OFP changing the colour of the uniforms would make no difference to an aimbot and I doubt it does in any other game.

In OFP it would be possible to make a cheat similar to an aimbot. I think if one is developed we'll know about it rather quickly, unless it's developed internally in a squad.

Some people dont understand that other people can be really good at the game. I for one wondered many times where the heck Hamilton was and how the hell he could see me when I went up against him. But I knew he would never cheat. I simply knew that he was better than me.

Kompaniet is just the best clan, and some people are jealous

Btw, I think it would be quite hard if not impossible to create such a thing, since OFP has a rather tightly shut core, unlike Halflife.

I will not say any names. Its sad that people spread such things about us only because we are good and i know that there are alot damn good clans out there that are of same caliber as [OFK], hopefully they dont beeing accused to be cheaters. My guess is that they who spread such rumuors(dont know if its spelled correct) cant handle a loss against better players and thats why they starts to call other cheaters. Well this was all that i had to say for now.

did why would anyone WANT an aimbot anyway? i find it as it is easier too shoot someone myself than if it was shot automatically. hell once i notice something usually my crosshair is over it in an instant and i take it down. tell the opposing clan to get some skill because its not hard to aim in OPF, even at long distances. why do you think you have sights and can zoom in?

Aim bots can work in any which way.

In first-person-shooters like Counter-Strike, some aimbots work with aiming at a certain color on the screen.

When the color is visible on the screen, the screen will center onto it. Which makes the aimer look right at it.

Most aimbots need to player to pull the trigger. Some aimbots shoot for you.

Other aimbots use an in-game auto-aim feature. But a lot of games don't offer auto-aim.

its quite easy to make a radar for infantry (=.

if u wanna do the addon (which is easier to do) then do so.

If u want the other way, all u have to do is setup all the enemies as vechicals, and so when u right click around the screen u can find the enemy and so all u have to do is get closer and shoot. ( I haven't done this, but my friend did and i have seen him do it.... Also [laughing] it will show russian enemys as hinds, and American enemys as black hawks (makes u think if u should waste an m16 or ak47 on it) )

the one i used to have and the one that is probably the most used is ogc, which is pretty much every hack you could possibly wantc (only for cs). it includes wall hacks, aimbots, skin hacks.. all easily selectable from an in game menu. the aimbot works by covering every other player in dots. the head for example will have 5 dots on it, the aimbot aims in the middle of these dots (and shifts your view to aim for it, so it looks realistic).

The aimbot can also be set to aim at: Head, heart, Stomach, testicles, and it will also autofire for you.

this is cs only as far as i know anyway

I'm shocked you use an Aimbot you told me all your blowing my brains out through the wall with the AWP was luck. I'm so shocked and upset . .

I remember when we first played against one another and you AWP me right in the chest at point blank and I survived you did not live through my 30 round retaliation through your head with my M4. Yep the first time I had played in months and I whipped both your ass and Black Ops.

That was really funny You with your AWP me spraying you with my AK through the wall, Yep that was fun what was more impressive I shot two of the CS out of the air when I was also in the air. Every one on that server was cheating made for a fun game through.

yeah, i was owning you until you started using that arsing AK it was funny cos although there were loads of blatent cheaters, the admins were cool about it and put low grav and loads of cool stuff on (and seemed to be cheating as well). plus there were a few innocent bystanders (non-cheaters) around who were fun to toy with. the mid air kills were wicked as well

It was quite funny when me and Stelt Eagle killed one another at exactly the same time. I blew his brains out with my Ak but unfortunately he had just lobbed a gren at me in my desperate scramble to get out of the vent it went off and threw me out and sort of killed me. Oh yeha and Black Op was trying to impersonate the moderators in there and got kicked for that.

There was one time I was trying to kill you through a wall but there were two other dudes next to you so I kind of nailed them both and then you put a AWP round in too my head.

That map was really fun.

I rember when we were once playing dust 2 when me and Black Op had taken one way and you had taken another and you ran out infront of me and I had emptyed half my clip into you by that point I realised you were on my team but you were kind of dead. I thought it was funny as hell at the time I just craked up laughing and had to stop playing for about 3 minutes.
