callaway 0 Posted March 13, 2007 One of the things I like about Arma is the realism; however, there are times when it can be very frustrating. Long travel times, or just being plain stuck on no-respawn vehicle missions can be annoying. The BF2 respawn on squad leader system is nice, but just out of place in Arma. My idea is too add a mobile command vehicle that can be parked near objectives and allow direct respawns. Without trying it, I can only see 1 problem that needs to be worked out...if the vehicle is destroyed, re-attaching the spawnpoint to the newly spawned vehicle. Simple, the respawn marker's got a global name, so when the first vehicle is destroyed exit the script and just run the script again on the new one (from the vehicle respawn script).
