Parachute gets me killed

Recommended Posts

my case is completely different , i jump from my 95% damaged chopper at 15 meter altitude and when i think i'm fried and stamped against the ground the player gets rid of the parachute and walks like he had just arrived and knew anything about what was going on

I call it the parachute bug lol

a good 70% of the time I die because of that stupid parachute.

I havent been shot or anything and at like 5/10 meters above the ground my parachute desappear so if i'm lucky i've got a broken leg or i'm dead.

It does occur most of the time if u try to land on a hill well at least not a plan surface.

It's really annoying and nearly everyone in my clan got the same problem

Hopefully the parachute will be fix and maybe someone will work on a controlable parachute smile_o.gif

This bug has only ever happened to me in MP, and it happens quite frequently!

The parachute just folds up too early. I've found if you push the "prone" button (Z by default) while falling out of the parachute, you can sometimes survive - although if you do, you are not able to see you weapon sights until you respawn (or maybe board a vehicle, it's weapon proxy and vehicle passenger proxy related).

tried to stick on topic, the parachute we now have are simply....broken in a way, like i said, why having a steerable chute model while you couldnt steer them at all? i'd say put back the round as standard first b4 you have a steerable chute system install, then make them SF and civil use, you simply wont see free fall jump other then SF operation and sport jumps

Here's some info for you guys. The lowest recorded combat jump was by the fallshirmjaeger during the invasion of malta. They jumped at a height of 200 feet and lost a large amount of their combat effectiveness due to injuries.

Allied airborne probably have the record during D-day when several glider pilots out of sheer fear shouted "jump jump jump" at incredible low altitudes. All airborn died in these (luckily few) instances.

I know we are all saying it but to confirm in my eyes it is a bug which happened 3 times to me last night (in the aircav mp mission) someone mentioned this mission on previous page and same thing happened to me and three others in the SF team jumping at Benoma, 10-15 metres off ground was released from parachute and splat  confused_o.gif

Then happened twice more when jumping from Blackhawk at a very reasonable altitude.

Gonna keep my ass outa the air until this is fixed mad_o.gif
