I TK occasionally, and I think it's great! I shoot legs, tires and chopper-blades. I take people's vehicles now and then, run them over and laugh 2 minutes.

I pilot filled choppers and move them many miles up in the air, right above the sea. And wait for everyone to eject.

Next time I see anyone of you whiners here I'll arrange a TK-feast just for you. I'll shoot and you'll dance.

Great ideas.  Just popped in again, and was I surprised.  I can't believe one of these selfcentered mental infants has the audacity to post, here of all places, about TK'ing and priding himself in being a jerk to others.  Please continue your efforts and keep the streets of ArmA clean of such rubbish.  Your common goals will be appreciated by all.

I am just wondering how often this TK guys actually is returning and how often they do a TK "Crawl" to many servers. I see a problem with netcafe's which get their ID banned ,,, Because I can not believe so many idiots put out $50 and and not want to play nice. ??

A suggestion to this Banned list. why delete them , I would instead keep track of how many servers has banned them , Let say a report from 3 , give 3 months. if they after 3 months again do it , banned for 6 months , plz dont trhough away the list , since it will be a good proff in some cases of discussion .

But I still thinks that the list should not be public , The people that want the list must sign written paper of some kind of agreement , maybe a kind of clubmembership , otherwise you risk to go again law.

Yep I agree there with ya Ice, the list should only be allowed for the Regiments/clans/squads (for their eyes only) Maybe we can get some kind of treaty where all the clans agree to sign up on, this way it keeps our game safe from the riff raff

As previously mentioned by another a couple of pages ago, the ban list itself needs protection from having your ID added by some 12 year old whos voted himself admin on a server.

Servers that submit to the list should be vetted I think, and limited to proper dedicated servers.

Another myth is that team killers and cheaters are all immature kids with no social life. I don’t have any statistics, but I am 20 years old and a junior in college majoring in Business Management, and I do have friends, go out on dates, and all the typical things a college kid does. Several other players I have spoken to that are like me have similar backgrounds, and your stereotyping makes you look just as immature as the players you dislike. You also have to remember that not every server you enter is against cheating or team killing, not only do some condone it, some even courage it. So if you aren’t happy with a server, why waste your time and ours babbling on and on about what you feel the game should be like? Excuse us, but who do you think you are to tell us how to play our game? If we enjoy the game by playing it differently than you do, don’t think for one second that we’re going to change our ways to please you, or your idealisms.

You want to have us banned from all servers? Good luck friends, it ain’t gonna happen. Our community is growing and we are here to stay whether you like it or not, so you might as well just get used to it. We’ll give you your precious “clean serversâ€, if you really want to be somewhere where you won’t find us. We usually stay away from servers that have an auto kick-bot or have tight admins who watch over their servers like a hawk. But keep in mind we’re going to have our fun as well. So if you stumble into one of our servers don’t expect to pull of some kind of internet “exorcism†to get us go change our ways or make us leave, or we’ll target you for harassment. And remember when you yell, scream, insult, and curse us you only give us more reason to do it. It’s incredibly satisfying to know you are in control of someone’s emotions, to know that they can only enjoy the game, if you intend on letting them. Your best bet is to wait until we get bored, or to find another server, because as long as we can get your goat, we won’t stop.

And here is Spinger’s final thought for the day.

To become so angered over a video game is utterly ridiculous, if someone who cheats or team kills can frustrate you so badly, you need to spend more time elsewhere.

I actually feel sorry for you, guy.  To hate the world so much and have good feelings from messing others up is a bit off the beaten social/mental path.  Seek some positive elements in your life, or get some help before a depression sets in.

It's not my problem if you don't enjoy your silly game. Then go and do something else or join another server if that's such a big problem for you? TKing is nothing to get upset over. Life is much more than that.

But to get back on the subject - I think the system that Sébastien has set up is all we need.

Only approved admins are allowed to submit IDs, so the chance of abuse if pretty low. People will get a second chance in case they do grow up (I wouldn't give them a third one though), and everybody who is interested can use the list.

It might need a proper translation by a native English speaker, perhaps a little visual overhaul, but I think we're pretty close to a good solution already.

Now we just need the admins to actually submit their ban lists.

Yes! Let's ban people we don't like or who think differently. Maybe we should put them into places with showers also.

Or say; I like to TK in server X only because the admin there's a douchebag. Why should I get banned in server Y where the admin is a great guy (read: highly skilled TKer) too?

Thing is, Based on your statement it really doesn't matter to you who you play with. They could be great, freindly guys who enjoy the games for all they are worth and have a genuinely goodtime...until they get tked by the likes of yourself over and over again.

Eventually frustration tends to set in followed with anger being that they cannot fully enjoy the game because someone feels the need to ruin a good environment. Simple really?

Its not a case of banning players who "think" differently, otherwise the servers would be pretty baron. Anyone who feels the need to ruin and disrupt a good gaming community should be aware that they will never be wanted. Whether they like to think so or not...

Yeah that would be the best idea. We should work out the plan of the nitty gritty stuff, then maybe ponder on some kind of treaty i.e Do's & dont's & for your eyes only stuff.
