Luciano 0 Posted February 21, 2007 WoW was released how many years ago? I just posted this as some people might like to know a place where they can get it cheap. I used a question mark for the "getting rid of it part" which means thats up to debate.

MehMan 0 Posted February 21, 2007 WoW was released how many years ago? Â Does that stop it's popularity and the fact that people are buying are still buying it?
-CS-SOBR-1st-I-R- 0 Posted February 21, 2007 The shops in Germany I were in contact with said that they wonder why I want to buy so many copies of the game. Shop: "The game seems to have no impact on the market at all" Another shop: "Actually I never heared of it" Again another shop: "We wont be offering it" Another one: "We didnt order any more.. cant even sell the 10 in the shelves" Few days later ... Myself: "did you sell many copies of ArmA?" Shop: "Not anything worth to mention..." Again a few days later ... price was dropped from 45,90 € to 39,90 € I give only hints... no direct statement cause I think its not necessary at all.

Funny, the major branches of GAME in Ireland sold out of copies within a few hours of release. Just goes to show that because something is unpopular in one area doesnt mean it will be the same in another. I guess time will tell whether ArmA was a success, not your limited evaluation of things
Luciano 0 Posted February 22, 2007 No, it just means there are a lot of rumors out there.
binkster 0 Posted February 22, 2007 Maybe thats the publishers fought for not advertising. Â You cant sell a game that no one has heard of. Â Maybe if the german/cz publishers were not in so much of a hurry to release before chirstmas and invest in tv comericials/magazines/internet/newspapers ect...... then they would have sold more. Â Sounds like to me bad marketing inwhich BIS has no fought in.
