Briefing notes only one page?

Recommended Posts

When I get a little long winded in the notes page of an ArmA briefing I then get cut off at the bottom of the first notes page when viewing the briefing in game. There is no link to continue to the second notes page as there was in OFP briefings.

Are we limited to only one page for notes in ArmA briefings?

I have not made any long Briefings so I am not sure this occurs on the plan page too. Thanks...DOA

Thanks for the work around SNKMan.

Like Nepumuk, I too would like to see the old briefing capibility restored. Multiple pages without having to manually create links to additional pages.

Of course I could just learn to write shorter briefings and notes, biggrin_o.gif

but some complex missions require a little more briefing.

Exactly, well I am sure there are higher priorities on BIS's todo list than fixing the briefing.

IMHO: The briefing and notes are a big part of each and every mission. If this is indeed a bug, I would hope it's high on the to be fixed list. :-)

Well i know how to hide object's in the briefing but is there a way to hide for example:

<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE"><p>More about the <a href="#New Situation">New Situation</a></p>

in the briefing till some other Object's are complete?

So far i did it with:

<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE"><p><a name="OBJ_9"></a>More about the <a href="#New Situation">New Situation</a></p>

and in the init.sqs

<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">"9" ObjStatus "HIDDEN"

But than i always have this green dot at the beginning of the text... well not that bad but if someone know#s how to do it another way plz let me know smile_o.gif
