time dead bodies stay on the map

Amount of time bodies stay on the map when dead. Now let me think wasn't this an ofp problem wich caused fps to drop, that is untill they fixed it. Is this the same team that made ofp, if so why are the dead bodies not disappearing quick like in the ofp fix, instead of using up the fps. So far i have played this game about 4 times in 1 month. The reason been i just don't enjoy it like i did ofp. I am sick to death of the server time outs on dedicated servers the running on the spot. I had so much hope for this game but so much has disappointed me.

I agree with you but this is not a troubleshooting issue, put it in the wishlist on the forums or the bug list on the wiki...

Expect a close lol

This was never an OFP feature, AFAIK isn't an ArmA feature, it was done by scripting.

Well it should have been a feature in several of the missions like CTF and CTI etc, I guess BIS haven't learnt from the community here.

There's absolutely no point in even including a CTI with the game if you are not going to include a remove dead bodies script every 5 - 10 mins etc, after awhile towns end up with dead bodies everywhere killing the server and clients FPS.

Removal of dead bodies isn't needed for most missions, and is something that a mission editor should do himself if it is needed.

But the CTI mission in the demo seriously needs dead body removal, it is pretty much unplayable right now. It also has other bugs like sometimes you can spawn in the enemy base and you sometimes spawn wounded. Also when you leave AI teammates behind (like you die or go to far so they are no longer part of your squad) they will hang around forever.

It works in the demo CTF map, i dont know if its a countdown or a max body count but yeah.
