Is this a complaint or a question?

Either way please reword.

If your asking wether your system specs are enough go Here

If you are asking how to tweak your system to get better performance check the posts here.

thanks

With 1.24 gigs of RAM i guess you mean 1024 - right?

Well, i don't see that "pretty good computer" when reading

your system specs - i see a system which could have been

bought 2 or maybe even 3 years ago (just about the graphics card i don't know too much to talk about age or quality).

OK, your system is reaching the recomended system specs

and your worries might be reasonable, but just consider the fact that this game is made to make ppl happy even after 3 or

4 years. wink_o.gif

Though you should follow Rhodite's links and/or have a look

yourself into some more posts and maybe you find the right

tweak to make it playable on your system.

3.4 ghz pentium D

GeForce 7950 GT KO (512mb)

2 gigs of some standard ram

and my game is running really fine without any

fps issues.

And note that my pc ain't a pretty good pc aswell, but

this one is.

My GPU was 400 euro's and the pc before was 1000 because

i bought a complete pc (what i did last time btw).

You see - you don't need that 'Super PC' you're talking about

to play that game. wink_o.gif

ok, but the thing is i can run every other high end graphics game out there no problem, mabye i need more ram or a better processor .. i did download the 1.02 patch and that actually helped alot. whatever they did to tweak the game up more.

Well i think i might have stumbled on the reason people are having performance issues and i think its to do with there hard drive bandwidth not keeping up with the steaming of the island to the video card. I think thats why some ATI users are having issues with issues with cards that should work. I plan on doing some testing tonight to see if having your fast write enabled and low bandwidth will cause this.

That would mean my 2 Seagate Cheetah's SCSI 15,000rpm 36gb hd's in Software RAID ( wish i had hw-scsi RAID controller ) should be screaming. and they aren't.

..Syn..

the only time they even think about thrashing is when a mission first loads up, i do a lil 360 turn, the HD's spinnup, then i don't hear them anymore. Only other time i even get that kind of hd-thrash is when i opened a gi-normous texture package with Unreal Editor.

If there's not more you want to discuss here, try the threads Rhodite mentioned. smile_o.gif

BTW, Marines, I'm sure you mean Tacitus, not Tactius. wink_o.gif
