JB™ 1 Posted December 5, 2006 I am pleased to announce my popular Map Symbol pack 2 is now available for Armed Assault NATO Map Marking Symbols Pack 2 Equipment & Weapons Pack (EAW) The pack adds 392 new symbols to the editor. The symbols can be found in the editor under Markers and can be placed as normal. The Equipment and Weapons map symbols comply with NATO standard APP6-a and are designed to be used in two ways: • Coloured - Select the colour using the editor to depict either friendly or enemy etc. • Monotone - Use the symbol border alone to depict either friendly or enemy etc. A fully detailed .pdf file is also included for reference. Commando84 0 Posted December 5, 2006 nice that you made custom nato markers into arma will you make any East block markers too to go along with the nato ones?
JBâ„¢ 1 Posted December 7, 2006 Eastern block and the rest of the APP6-a symbols (pack 3) are underway as we speak. although the eastern block markers are not really used by many armies as they now also use the NATO app6 or app6-a standard, I will include the most modern versions I can find (I believe the ones used in the current OFP pack is from the 80`s and not 100% accurate) The .pdf guide so the symbols can be used as realistically as possible is what is taking the time up
