Placebo 29 Posted January 29, 2002 300kb to show a simple pic of 3 traffic lights? That's bad bad bad bad bad Please keep all pics to less than 100kb But seeing as it looks like a really cool/fun addon I've been nice and done the pic editing for you Simply resize and jpeg compression turns it from 300kb-31kb, much better

Placebo 29 Posted January 29, 2002 LOL well I only want them so I can race through red lights and feel like such a rebel Wonder if we could have scripts whereby it detects if you go through a red light and can have someone then follow and attack you, would be cool

LuD 0 Posted January 30, 2002 How in the hell are these traffic lights being put into the game? They really look stunning, but I don't see how it's being done! Neat-o! I can't wait to see what we can do with these.
EveronVetsAgainstTheWar 1 Posted January 30, 2002 Run a red light and they follow you and ATTACK you? What kind of oppressive police state is this? OH YA the soviets control the islands...

I would prefer to have these somewhat "integrated" onto the world map, just as I would like to change a small detail about the repair truck. (when in a badly damaged vehicle you autoeject - not letting you repair it since you must be inside... So make the truck somehow able to repair anyway) However, such modifications will only be present in missions that implement them. But other than that, multiplayer could be a problem - one would need a "addon screen" that let players/servers enable/disable global addons, forcing sync. (A real mess) Addon transfers in multiplayer would be nice though...

Thats OK neither can I or the Ai, thats why i fly instead... one rule: Never place a trabnt in a convoy with a fuel truck... The truck will destroy the Trabant and you must hear those "fall back in to formation" messages from others. Placebo we better learn to drive before the cops come. And 300 kb is bad??? i my screenshot it 2 mb's!!!!! used BMP format.

mahuja 12 Posted February 7, 2002 the reason not to have 2Mb scr.shots = on a modem, you can't really expect shorter than five minutes for 1Mb.
