DVD 0 Posted November 18, 2006 Description: This is a crCTI Mod, with german, russian & american addons of the community. I think pictures say more than 1000 words, so check the pictures and you will see which addons i took for the game. This Mods comes with own configs addons which brings all addons togehter for a better balance, and give the game a better performance. And after all, some sounds and "gimmicks" were realized by the "dvd_config" & "dvd_us_config" addon. No original addon was modified, all mod. were made in the configs. Installation: Extract the files from the archives into your Operation Flashpoint: Resistance â„¢ Addons folder or (better) a mod folder of your choice and the missions in your MPMissions folder. I would create a extra mod folder for the needed islands (IslandPack v2 + OFland + Anilym ver3). All needed downloads here
froggyluv 2136 Posted November 19, 2006 Just DL'ed USDVD Mission Pack, Config, Add-ons, and Islands pack. Extracted into Res/Add-ons then Missions into MPMissions. All the Islands are showing but when I click on a DVD mission- nothing happens
Shashman 0 Posted November 19, 2006 Yeah I get that when I try and select a US mission. BW missions work though
froggyluv 2136 Posted November 19, 2006 Yeah I get that when I try and select a US mission. BW missions work though Looks like I picked the wrong apple - I only have dial-up so it took all night to DL Error Mssge - "Addon 'DVD_US Config' requires add-on 'Dvd_Cofig218' " Tried re-downloading config but same problem. DVD 0 Posted November 19, 2006 I forgot to say "US@DVD" is a extra pack. Quote[/b] ]needed Addons: - all addons of BW@DVD + - DVD US Config 2mb ** - US@DVD addons 127mb So that means, you need all addons of BW@DVD (BW@DVD1.72update + BW@DVD addons) if you like to play US@DVD. Anyhow, it is in the moment on ZZ united, both Oldfreaks server, Coop-Center Server and i bet on one - two server more. And it runs without problems, make sure you use modfolder to keep the overview about your addons.
Shashman 0 Posted November 19, 2006 Yeah I have all addons. My shortcut looks like <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">mod= BW;USDVD;DVD I still can't launch any US missions
DVD 0 Posted November 19, 2006 -mod=BW -mod=USDVD -mod=DVD if you have 3 modfolder.^^ "BW" & "USDVD" & "DVD"
Shashman 0 Posted November 19, 2006 No, I launch all 3 mod folders together, with one shortcut. I don't want to have so many OFP shortcuts (I already have 6 ). Is it not possible to launch this way?
DVD 0 Posted November 19, 2006 Of course you can start all modfolder, with one shortcut. But every modfolder need a "-mod=" in the shortcut. looks like this Quote[/b] ]"X:\...\Operation Flashpoint\FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE" -nosplash -nomap -mod=BW -mod=USDVD -mod=DVD
.kju 3245 Posted November 19, 2006 no DVD. its possible both ways.

DVD 0 Posted November 19, 2006 @Q Ok, good to know @froggyluv Yes dude, but look at ArmA, the basic installation is ~3GB ... better looking stuff need space. @Berliner19 Thx
Shashman 0 Posted November 20, 2006 OK so why can't I launch US missions, even though I downloaded all the addons and put them in mod folders?
DVD 0 Posted November 20, 2006 Well, this missions are MPmissions and belong to the MPmissions folder. There is no secret, just load the addons correctly, put the missions in the right folder and it works.
Shashman 0 Posted November 20, 2006 Â I've been playing OFP since its release, I think I know in which folder Missions and MPmissions go lol I have downloaded every addon in this post and they have been installed in the correct mod folders, yet still no US missions Could someone do me a favour and tell me precisely what addons they have in what mod folders please, like take a screen shot of the contents of your mod folders?
Shashman 0 Posted November 20, 2006 OK thanks, I'll try that now But before, when I launched US@DVD shortcut, I got an error message at the startup saying I needed BWMOD
LeChuckle 0 Posted November 20, 2006 did you launch both modfolders?
Shashman 0 Posted November 20, 2006 No, I made one shortcut for USDVD and one for BWDVD, then I tried one shortcut which launched both USDVD and BWDVD, and when I tried that way, I could play BW maps, but not US maps  Anyway, I just reinstalled it all from scratch, and my BW@DVD and US@DVD folders look exactly like DVD posted, so I hope it works, otherwise I'll be back /EDIT: Should I have just BW@DVD and US@DVD, or should there also be a DVD mod folder, which contains the general DVD config? /EDIT 2: OK so I just launched my US CTI shortcut, which launches with just US@DVD mod folder, and I get an error message saying Quote[/b] ]Addon 'dvd_us_config1' requires addon 'DVD_Config218' And I can't launch either BW or US maps
LeChuckle 0 Posted November 20, 2006 US@DVD must be launched together with BW@DVD, so your shortcut should look like this: -mod=US@DVD;BW@DVD (or vice versa ,dunno)
Shashman 0 Posted November 20, 2006 Thanks, I'll try that, so far no error message when launching  /EDIT : No, still can't launch any US maps, just BW ones
LeChuckle 0 Posted November 20, 2006 strange. maybe you've mixed the configs or placed them wrong?
Shashman 0 Posted November 20, 2006 Well, the contents of my BW@DVD and US@DVD mod folders are exactly the same as DVD posted so I'm lost
DVD 0 Posted November 20, 2006 Dude put all in addons one folder and start this.
