loony 0 Posted October 26, 2006 Hello everyone Since the certain time I am creating island. Still from a few days I am doing the map about the name Khawar. The map is in desert climates and there is no real counterpart. Her a size is 512x512, that is not too big. As for now I did the radio station on the top of one of mountain, windmills and a few small details so as the oasis and deserts with scattered stones. In plans I have much, among others the airport with a military base, three big cities and a few smaller villages, the harbour and the refinery, but to it are a time needed. A desert will be taking about half of the map. Addons I am using which these are mainly objects from Libya, Fernau, Mapfact, DKM and the Agent Smith. As for now the map is weighing about 10MB (files in it required, but not all). Before you release, remember to read the "How to Release" part of WrpTool manual so you wont make mistakes like so many others have done, regarding packing existing addons to their island pbos or download packets. BlackScorpion 0 Posted October 26, 2006 Hehee looking rather nice. Mapfact, Agent_Smith and DMA Libya objects... sounds good. Just don't do too little, nor too much. Just a suggestion... maybe space out the windmills just a tad? They seem to have enough space to do a full 360-degree turn simultaneously, already, but if my estimations are in any way near correct, it's going to be rather tight. mondkalb 1087 Posted October 27, 2006 Nice idea, but you should place 10-12 Windmills, and don't place high voltage transmission lines in desert, the dunes can get up to ~45/50 meters.
