mondkalb 1087 Posted September 10, 2006 Fernau island is an Island located in Northern Germany with a Sowjet Sector. Fernau Island is optimized for missionbuilders. That means there are Lanscapes offering many possibilities to attack, for example, a convoi, or Infiltrate a Sowjet Radiotelescope used for espionage. Yes, you guessed it, i've done new Buildings and Objects. The Island was at first dedicatet for our Closed Community around Armed-Tactics, but then, after more and More new Ideas and Buildings were added, i thought why not release that Island?!? Here we are! Whats on the map? A new bridge A radiotelescope (Closed) Oremines New buildings Other smaller things In addition ive envolved a Game-Logic, that makes Fountains working and places usable benches. As someone who has used the same objects for everything from U-Boat pens to workshop loading platforms, it is great to see such creative and inspiring work! wipman 1 Posted September 13, 2006 Hi, this island looks good and adds good posibilities to use it in MP because it don't have lag, the villages look really well done too;but i've found 2 bugs. One in one of the addon objects and another on a location. The edge of the entire wood at the E/NE of the village in EC10 is too visible, the texture step to the wood texture is not blended with the green grass nogova texture. And inside the bunker at DA35 the walls at the side of the entrance door, by the inside... don't have any texture, they appear white. I haven't found any other bug. Freshman 0 Posted September 13, 2006 Good work. If you put in some more details like a few gardens or something like that it would be really great. I like the cloister very much because of these new objekts. It lets the island look more alive. And... some Begrenzungspfähle (funny cateye thingies on the side of the road ) would be nice.
