j w 0 Posted April 21, 2006 How the hell do I download it? I don't wanna be member on some bullshit crapidshare site. Omfg...
Greg147 0 Posted April 21, 2006 Hmmm....I downloaded, but what the hell is with the installation? Theres no readme for the main file, so I suppose I just put it in the addons folder, but its not a pbo file So I have no idea. It says 'Open with an Unpacker (i.e. PBOX) the files WWII_models.pbo, WWII_t.pbo,WWII_cpp.pbo and your dta\Data3D.pbo', but the upgrade contains no PBO files, and neither does the main package. Have I missed something out here? I'm totally confussed. Couldn't it be placed in a simple PBO file?
reyhard 2082 Posted April 22, 2006 Instalation is quite simple, just unpack files to your custom folder (for example to deskpot) and then move them to res/addons or to any mod folder. Island is awesome but i would suggest to use for example OFPL grass (from Lechistan/Drago) and create grass less version for worser PC. Hope lag will be fixed in version and map will be quite bigger
Greg147 0 Posted April 22, 2006 Instalation is quite simple, just unpack files to your custom folder (for example to deskpot) and then move them to res/addons or  to any mod folder. You must have downloaded a different file to me. The first one I downlaoded had no PBO files at all, there were just many CPP files, which did nothing when putting them in the addons folder. Anyway, I've downloaded the version on ofp.info (which has PBOs in it), and the island is great! OFP has needed something like this for ages, a closed in map similar to what was created by the Conspiricies mod. Now we can make some CQBs without the worry of the player running off away from the objective.
raptor 6 actual 13 Posted April 22, 2006 Yes, great, great map beginning. I agree about using the OFPL Grass for cutting down the lag, though it was barely noticible on my end. Keep up the good work mate.
Guest Ti0n3r Posted April 22, 2006 Just downloaded this. The weapons (BAR, Garand, Thompson) are superb.
JdB 151 Posted April 22, 2006 Just downloaded this. The weapons (BAR, Garand, Thompson) are superb. Too bad the models are quite a mess. Alot of unnecessary faces and poly's. Also they lack (good) lods. But I guess they are more of a bonus to the pack.

Imshi-Yallah 0 Posted April 23, 2006 The map is really gorgeous, the small size doesnt bother me although if there is a way to make it less processor intensive please do. Didnt even realise there were weapons in the pack. Excellent work though.
