Simple. When I first discovered Delta Force 1, I noticed those nice little messages in the upper right screen corner that said who killed who, such as "KRUSTY CLOWN KILLED BOZO". Anyway, I gave it some thought and decided that it might annoy a few machos out there if they got their name in lights as being killed by The Avon Lady, as in "THE HULK WAS SLIT OPEN BY THE AVON LADY" (how I miss those knife fights). "Sinister Killer was fragged by Britney Spears" "Sinister Killer was fragged by his stupidity" I also used to take the skeleton character in Quake3, under the name Ally McBeal. Assault (CAN) 1 Posted January 23, 2002 I liked the names "a bullet" or "himself" eg, "BOZO was killed by:a bullet" or "a bullet killed: BOZO" and so on. However, I stuck by the nick: Canadian, I still use the same nick in OFP. I too miss the voxel grass and knife fights and the true sense of being "outside" as others have noted of DF2 but I don't miss the cheats. I HATED autonades and speeders and GPS users. It has it's good points, but I hated how long missions took to load MP, and if you were playing LAN not everyone would enter the mission at the same time, unless you set a ridiculously long wait time for mission start! Some "sniper only" maps just sucked. All to quickly they would turn into assault fights with sniper rifles, that was pathetic. I also hated it when people banned certain weapons like grenades. Banning the SAW was understandable though. It was really un-realistic and ANNOYING to be sniping 600m away from some trigger holder with a SAW and to be killed by him, all the while he was running!
