Dwarden 1125 Posted August 4, 2006 Animations for entering vehicle by Americas Army http://www.americasarmy.com/flash/sitrep_videos/sp_video_1.swf video is worth tons of words
dm 9 Posted August 4, 2006 Yes... because everyone gets into vehicles like an "action hero" ........ [Edit] Tho the animation possibilities are good [/Edit]
frederf 0 Posted August 4, 2006 Those AA vehicle animations are rediculous. I'd rather have OFP-pop. The Vietcong/GT:AW style animations would be rather nifty, especially tailgates dropping on 5tons and APC doors.
450R 1 Posted August 4, 2006 How can you guys ask BIS to take away the 3-man-high squad pile-up at the back of a 5-ton? Are you TRYING to take all my fun away? There's definitely room for improvement, but if it's between being locked on rails while the embark/disembark animation plays or doing it the old fashioned OFP way, I'll take the latter. Moving in vehicles would be nice but that's a big can'o'worms.
VISTREL 0 Posted August 4, 2006 I think it will be animated. Although, I wanted small feature to shoot through them. OFP had such objects such as barn.
Sepe 1 Posted August 4, 2006 As long as it's not like BF1942 where you just teleport in and out without any anims, I'm happy. And I can only imagine 10 player-controlled soldiers climbing out of a 5T at the same time. Wouldn't mind being able to stand and then freely walk around in boats, backs of trucks, planes etc. though. Still there would be newbies trying to parajump in line formations, but 'ey, that's the price you pay for playing on public servers anyway. EDIT: It was a typo, I swear!
