I watched every episode the day they would go on air, 'never missed an episode. Although it didn't represent the real military like Hellfish6 said, it did make a dang good climactic drama.

I saw it , downloaded all the episodes (we dont have FX network here in Israel). I think the the "Roadblock Duty" episode was realistic though . .little similar to what we have here in Israel . .lol

I have seen them all and I quite liked it. Fictional or not, I thought it captured the “WTF†situation you can quite easily find yourself in as a soldier.

Yeah must say I enjoyed it, but then I was watching it as an entertaining TV show, not as an educational military documentary series

See, but I loved Tour of Duty. I hated Over There. Maybe its because I was 10 when I watched ToD, and hadn't yet experienced the harsh reality that is the Army.

THe road block i believe would be a little realistic. There are some major ficitional things in this series though.

I've only managed to see one episode. It's was about some guys on a road block - probably "Roadblock Duty". I thought it was ok.

I finished watch it a couple of days ago. Not a bad series but there are some really stupid things there. I like how the 2 girls are always near the guys even though they are in a different squad... I also don't think the US Army would have taken the other one back after going awol.

I've got all the episodes, but can't really bring myself to watch last two episodes. Too much non-combat drama crap. Not really my style. Although fighting scenes were not too bad.

Quite unimpressive so far. The families bits are dull almost 50's-like and the military parts are so-so. Even Haybert seems painfully awkward.
