World War II CZ MOD

[Deathstruck 375]

Long story short: This mod started as a general WW2 mod, covering commando raids, Pacific etc. (as you can see, we had some problems in the beginning.).

The mod then evolved (roughly from page 9) into the Army of the Czechoslovak republic, covering years 39-45. The mod is completed for OFP, partially for ArmA, ArmA2 and now we are working on the Arma3 version. :)

I want to inform you about OFP mod - ACSR 1938.

We are making mod from WWII period - Czecho-Slovak Army. The mod is progressing quickly, but we need 3d/2d artist and map-makers. In mod you can play as Czech or Slovak, maybe as Freikorps - German civil forces. In mod will be two campaigns - One real, One unreal.

Mod will be release in two versions - For OFP and for Armed Assault.

Our mod is in cooperation with W39 mod.

Our mod issued alpha version of Slovak pack for OFP.

You say that you are a retexturing team so what will you actually retexture? The OFP community is kind of spoiled so you can't retexture a modern ArmA soldier and hope that people will accept it as a WW2 soldier. If you plan to retexture currently available ww2 models it might work but only if you create some quality normal maps for them, but of course that will require that the authors gives you the permit to do so.

By the way, your site is extremely slow for me.. Is it the same for others or are you trying to block me?

Back on topic, as has been tried before, so far what I;ve seen looks quite good, but I will echo what Llauma said. What are you acctually going to re-texture. Are you making some new models and texturing those or are you going to be texturing other's units.

I cant understand this community. When our team posted some screens of great looking weapons for BHD i was only read words like "sh*t, wtf, 1001st M16 addon, crap,..."

I read about the type of missions to expect, but will there be some sort of Czech resistance or will you be playing as a British Commando or some sort of American unit?

If I could suggest one thing, I would love to see some 1930/40s looking civillians with a good deal of them posing as resistance fighters.

How about you try and join a currently established World War Two mod? From what I hear everyone wants texturers, you could learn some handy tips and get some decent models to texture too. Plus you'd get content for missions built faster.
