CameronMcDonald 146 Posted March 9, 2006 Sounds good mate - what do you mean by ACU with OD? I'll definitely be borrowing your ACU with ACU!!! Looking good! Are you still OK with making a garrison unit (no body armour, etc)?
Shashman 0 Posted March 9, 2006 OD=Olive Drab I think your boots need dirtying or darkening. They look rather spotless right now
CameronMcDonald 146 Posted March 9, 2006 Oh, and don't forget shadows! Â Edit: I'm fairly sure only Marines use olive drab - I think you should concentrate on tan and ACU.

nephilim 0 Posted March 9, 2006 the proportions of that figure still dont look right to me... the feet a bit too big.. but legs/ankles are way to thin... the shoulders and specially arms look like sausages.. hes lookin like stuffed with cotton or something.. maybe improve that a bit as for the acu... the patters looks like a color matched marpat to me.. marpat has 4 colors acu only 3 the digits are to small aswell check militaryphotos.net for that... you shoul do bit more reasearch.. 456820 0 Posted April 2, 2006 yeah they look great there. Maybe a little too 'tany'? Take out a little bit of the tan and add more of the greeny colour then they will be perfect. Also how about some shots from long range like 70metres how visible are they? Looking good
DLEM 0 Posted April 2, 2006 thanks guys Green color is already added, it is impossible more, differently already will be not acu On range of 70 meters, visibility of 100 %
eestikas88 0 Posted April 2, 2006 These soldiers look good.
mr. Duck 0 Posted April 2, 2006 Ehm, question about the heads, you gonna use the standard BIS ones? Or not? Cause I remember some other dude who did not use the standard BIS head, and although they look ok, it looked weird, since there was not much variation (example. All the troops were white, all the MG's had moustaches, etc. etc.) But they look really promising.
DLEM 0 Posted April 2, 2006 thanks i use heads from great Llaumas when will release new versoin of fasetex2, Soldiers will have many faces
wipman 1 Posted April 2, 2006 Hi, i'll like to say that those models, are just amazing, that head model look real and those boots also. Awesome work; those models sure that will make us don't envy anything to the VBS1. I'll like to have 'em in O2 open to make 'em wear some Marpat(W) BDU's, change a bit the boots textures... and also do some face textures, camoed, bandanas, injured etc... etc... good work, they seems very fanzy. Let's C ya

remcen 0 Posted April 2, 2006 unfortunately like many other infantry addons these soldiers look like they wear smooth plastic pipes instead of pants/shirts/etc you could have also applied a little seamless ACU pattern - same effect, but you would have saved memory space. hope you update the textures. there are absolutely no wrinkles, no depth, no structure. i'm wondering why hardly any infantrymaker pays attention to this aspect for it's so easy to implement. ask a friend to put on a a pair of uni-coloured pants, take photos, make them black&white, cut&paste the wrinkles in your texture. or - if you're lazy - download the texture templates in the BAS infantry kit (http://ofp.neco.cz/index.php?showthis=6383) or those from ghost recon wich laser and LLW use for example (http://www.ghostrecon.net/html/skin-tutorial.htm). I don't think DLEM speaks english and he might have a hard time understanding that after he puts it through his english to russian translator. my advice is keep it simple heres your message when put through to russian then back to english. Quote[/b] ]Unfortunately as many other additions of infantry these soldiers are similar, that they carry smooth plastic pipes instead of trousers/shirts/and т.д: (You, probably, also have applied small sample ACU without a seam - the same effect, but you will rescue a place of memory. Hope, that you update structures. There are no wrinkles, any depth, any structure. I asked by a question why hardly any infantrymaker pays attention to this aspect as it is so easy to carry out. Ask, that the friend has put on pair one-colour trousers, has taken photos, has made them black*white, cut*paste wrinkles in your structure. Or - if you are lazy - load patterns of structure in the complete set of infantry БАРИЕВ (http: // ofp.neco.cz/index.php? showthis=6383), or those from a phantom have repeatedly substituted wich the laser and use LLW for example (http: // www.ghostrecon.net/html/skin-tutorial.htm). So DLEM what remcen is trying to say is that you need wrinkles in the uniform and seams in the pants.
