alpha125rbf 0 Posted February 5, 2006 I have a problem: when i try to convert the reistance "config.bin" in the "config.cpp" with the BINVIEW, the soldiers with pistols can't move anymore with pistols in hands. How can I convert the config without this errors??? There is a great OPF animations maker DEZOOM on flashpoint.ru who seems to have the same problem: he has made an unique death animations for OPF resistance (config replacement) and has the same problem... If you want to test his work, download 500 kb, replace the resistance config, kill a soldier and enjoy! About 20 new animations are included! flashpoint.ru is offline now, but I promice to give you the link when it works again... Link for the death anims at flashpoint.ru http://flashpoint.ru/data/addons/other/dezoom_anim.rar IF SOMEONE WANNA DOWNLOAD NEW AINIMS CONFIG, JUST KLICK. >Really need your help. Nemesis6 0 Posted February 5, 2006 I know this problem, for me, it presented itself when I didn't convert a .cpp config to .bin format. There are various configs available, but the one I used as a template(the GMR one) can't be used as a .cpp. It has to be compiled. If you want a config that can be used as a .cpp without any errors, I think you're gonna have to use the official BIS-supplied .cpp configs.
alpha125rbf 0 Posted February 5, 2006 Ok then i need an official BIS suplied config, that i can edit. Thanks. I wonder if there is no another solution, like a good compiler for bin files or somerting like that. SORRY I just found another topic about this. http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....fig.cpp THANK YOU A LOT Sanctuary !!!!
hamis 0 Posted February 6, 2006 You can also use @ECP 1.085 config.
alpha125rbf 0 Posted February 6, 2006 Jep, I tried @ECP config, but the problem is to replace the standart units in ECP: They have so much stuff running at the same time that a greater replacement causes great instability of the mod. I tried to replace standart ECP units twice, with backups; and something made always bigger errors. But i think, now the topic should be closed, I have really a solution now. It dont fix everything but for my small purposes it works. J just make replacement and small ballance changing for fun, so I think there would not be more questions to this theme from me... alpha125rbf 0 Posted February 8, 2006 Blackblood, your config was written in one single line. I found another config, but ounly 1.91... http://www.flashpoint.ru/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=19409
Blackblood 0 Posted February 8, 2006 Blackblood, your config was written in one single line. Can you say "word wrap". Naah, it's prolly me insisting on using 3rd party text editors.

action man 0 Posted February 10, 2006 Ok iv'e got it sorted  A nice helpful lad called pappy boyington gave me precise instructions on what to do!
shinRaiden 0 Posted February 10, 2006 The only problem with binview is that it can't restore the original #defines. If you step through the commented configs instead, you get a much more useful overview of how the pieces fit together. Except for CfgMovesMC. Heaven have mercy on the poor suckers who wander naively in there.

Well, my config works prefectly though, and it is converted to a bin without a problem, altough i might have copied the Defines section from another config, like i did with some other parts... NeMeSiS 11 Posted February 11, 2006 @ofpforum,i know you meant well with your'e reply's However all you have done to this topic is completly cocked it up i.e hammering on about how you use bin veiw with no problems, when everybody else is pointing out their is a problem! And by cocked it up i mean every body has gone off at a different angle, and i didn't find out what i wanted to know. All i wanted to know was which lines from the new death anim cpp do i copy to my own custom config.(eventualy pappy boyington sorted it for me) Actually my replies were aimed at the topic starter, but something eventually mixed up somewhere, but as your problem is solved we better let this topic die, the topic starter himself disappeared anyway.
