Yet still this is more of a public test version. This is as we have still the issue of trees sometimes sticking to some part in the ground and by our assumption rather bad performance mainly on malden. .kju 3245 Posted February 2, 2006 @snipman: its no extra islands. it changes the look of the default CwC islands (Everon, Malden, Kolgujev). the benefit of this version is that its run via modfolder and also replaces the trees on any addon island using the CwC vegetation. as for the performance: from the ground all three run good for me. in the air or sometimes MP, Malden is just totally unplayable (mostly dependant on viewdistance). it seems Malden has the highest density of the vegetation of all BIS islands. i guess thats the reason. as for the trees being into the ground i think we cant change that, as this would require modifying the wrp files which is totally against the intention of the pack. so its like take it if you like it, else skip it. 456820 0 Posted March 3, 2006 well i havent actually gotten round to playing with this yet but ive just started downloading it. How would i go abouts installing this with a sky pack you say "in a certain way" how? couldnt i just unpbo this addon and extract the textures from the sky pack into the unpboed addon of this and then re pbo it and play?? 456820 0 Posted March 4, 2006 well ive just downloaded and installed and been able to play and its great, it also works fine with my sky pack no need to change anything it just worked. Its a shame it doesnt look quite as good as FFUR's nordic islands but it however still looks good and does get rid of alot of the AI problems with the Nordic islands no more dodgy driving AI or being able to see further through forests and finally i can shoot through bushed again. Thats why im gonna stich with these vegetations instead of the Nordic. Good work I havent noticed any bugs as of yet all works great Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
