Lifter 0 Posted January 13, 2006 I've just installed ofp on a friend of mines new comp, and everything looks good untill you play at night. Then, some textures that are supposed to be really dark are, instead, really green. The graphicscard he's using is a asus Nvidia n6600GT silencer (with the latest drivers) Anyone had this problem? Anyone had a solution?
Guba 0 Posted January 13, 2006 Hi Lifter, I have the same card as your friend's but I use Windows XP Omega Drivers instead as the newest nVidia drivers don't seem to work too well with my OFP. I'm not sure if this will solve your mate's problem but I'd think it will at least increase the performance of his game.
nominesine 0 Posted January 13, 2006 Or ask him to switch off his NV-goggles (sorry I couldn't resist )
kegetys 2 Posted January 13, 2006 Make sure you're using 32bit colors, with 16bit colors you often get green tint on things since it has more bits for the green channel (RGB 565).
Mister Frag 0 Posted January 13, 2006 That might also happen if the rendering engine in the Preferences is set to "Direct3D" instead of "Direct3D HW T&L".
