Jack Boots 0 Posted January 9, 2006 whilst I've not read through all the posts, my questions concerns animation.pbo file. are there different language versions of  this file that might lead  someone to believe that this file was modified
Planck 1 Posted January 9, 2006 Animation.pbo??? There is no such PBO as part of the official OFP game. Maybe it is part of a third party addon? Planck
Jack Boots 0 Posted January 9, 2006 yes there is Look in Codemasters\Operation Flashpoint\Dta or Codemasters\Operation Flashpoint\Res\Dta your find it, Anim.pbo
Planck 1 Posted January 9, 2006 Anim.pbo does exist, but, Animation.pbo does not. Never mind, the Anim.pbo only contains the .rtm animation files for the game. AFAIK you cannot create animations in a specific language. Planck

anim= animation There is a very good reason I've asked for technical help on this as its been possible to modify thus cheat, some that have been found with this file modified have claimed its a different language. If that was officially cleared up from someone at BIS then I'd be happy.
Planck 1 Posted January 10, 2006 It's so much better when you explain your problem in more detail isn't it? However if you ask your computer to search for Animation.pbo it will not find it......it will however find Anim.pbo. You can't tell your computer "Hey, but Anim is short for Animation, stupid machine, don't you know that." It will only search for what you tell it to search for. Always be precise. If you know people who have an Anim.pbo that is a different size from the standard size and they say it is because it is a different language..........they are lying. AFAIK = As Far As I Know. Jack Boots 0 Posted January 10, 2006 are there different language versions of  this file that might lead  someone to believe that this file was modified I find my 1st post is enough,, simple yes or no is good enough, Computer search ?  I'm hoping for an answer from a human, who understands that anim.pbo  is short for animation. There is no real reason at that point to explain why I'm asking.  are there different language versions of the file anim.pbo  yes or know.. Did you know " anim " was short for animation. if so then why the smart ass remarks  IMO Further more ty for ur final answer. I just want to be sure this is right

Jack Boots 0 Posted January 11, 2006 thx Aussie, Its been an issue for the squad I'm in,it does seem some people think there are different versions; depending on what country you live in. I know anim.pbo is responsible for rtm. movement coordinates of the solider a player plays so I just can't see how the anim.pbo could be any difference in any other country, which should mean anim.pbo is universal stock. Unless someones using some addon anim.pbo should be the same size right ?

Lots of people are using animation replacement packs to replace the BIS animations, unless you are living under a rock you should know that there are several of them available. That may explain why you see different size for the Anim.pbo Langage should have nothing to do with that.
russin 0 Posted January 11, 2006 Sanctuary why he is asking is because someone in league play has said they aren't using your anim pack but has a different size anim pbo is there different size anim.pbo's (stock ones that is ? ) to me i dought Bis would make different size ones but who knows is the post i put above the only size file for anim.pbo ?
