Llauma Head 2.0

I may have missed soemthing so I am sorry in advacne.

I have followed the instructions and placed the two animation faces into the correct lods etc, I have also added the animation code into my config.

But,

before I placed the animation snippet into my config my unit had random heads (Llauma's), now after the animation code I only ever get the one head, do I need to set the units head in the config, or is this non-random head a by-product of the head changing bug fix?

*******Disregard people there was no problem, its just that I could not see the change in the head until after a few more untis were placed in the editor and I saw the slight differences*****

Llauma your heads are really incredible. I wish if you could make some iranian-arabic faces too with the quality of these ones. Although I admire the screens I couldnt admire the faces in game much actualy, I donwloaded facestex, put it into addons, but I cant choose any of them as my character's face which I desire mainly. I can use them in GROM or in used addons but not as my char. face. How can I do that?

Also to summarize, what addons currently use Facestex as of now?

Well, afaik, you can actually choose a face from the .pbo as you character face, atleast by editing the config a bit, but it's only work with the units that have the head model and also the script might just kick in; not sure though. confused_o.gif

For arabic faces, check the DMA Toyota wars. They have the Libyan faces, which also include Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein, too, I think.

As of, now the released units that use Llauma's head v2 are (sorry for no links):

Offtime's GROM

OFPL units (if I got the name wrong, well atleast they're Polish Army)

DMA Toyota wars units (Chad, Libyan etc.) (uses it's own facetex)

SgtEv's SWAT units v2

Lasers PJ's and CCT's

TQP US Army Spec Forces (was released some days ago)

NorFor units, updated beta (?) by... Wilco (?) (uses it's own facetex)

DLEM's ACU units

Wilco's Multicam retex of the above

That's all I can think off my head. WIP projects include atleast:

Bambi's Blackops v2

IM:UC units

Operation Faceplant units (community addons with Llauma's head added)

EDF units by Ironsight (continued & updated)

BAS Tonali units "Redux" (mostly DMA units, it seems, though)

EDIT: DLEM's ACU and Wilco's Multicam added. smile_o.gif And EDF's, too.

Well sorry for stating the problem wrong. Its not that I cant choose, I can choose but it looks spoiled on the current face model. It is as if the face model and texture are compatible. The nose and mouth appears at where ears should be etc...

I reckon the textures dont use original face model but how will I make the game use the required model in the player char. editting screen?

hello everyone and thanks to all the addons maker which continue to make OFP, the game the most complete and most alive.

For my personal use, I try for a long time to replace the units heads of RED Hammer Studio by those of Llauma, without any success. I read all the readme explaining how to make the remplacement, but nothing works, and the most awfull it is that i haven't any problem with other units (like kmm.international soldiers as explain in the Sanctuary tutorial).I have seen, in combat photography section, that there are some of you who succeeded.

And i would like to ask them how they have done. Please reply 'cause this problem beginns to banghead.gif .

Thanks for your reply and congratulation to all the creators and specially to Red Hammer Studio, Offtime and Llauma.

However I haven't any problem with other units, using the Sanctuary method. And as i am pretty new in Oxigen i can't

understand all the process to identify the origin of my problem, maybe you can.

its probably coused by usimg odolexplorer wich sometimes produces errors in selections

so problem is not with the head, problem is in model selections.

indeed it was the real problem. I had not noticed that there is a patch for Odolexplorer. Since i have

patched it all works very fine and i can complete my face implantation.

Thank you very much Offtime to help me open my eyes. After all i think i was just too much drunk biggrin_o.gif
