Jackal326 1182 Posted September 6, 2005 Not likely, the O.pbo.bak file is a BACKUP of the original UNMODIFIED O.pbo, so renaming it, effectively uninstalls the pack. However, the fact that the O.PBO file is SMALLER than the O.PBO.BAK file, leads me to beleive the PBO Patcher didn't successfully complete its task.
fl cool j 0 Posted September 6, 2005 Weird, because i have the same after patching Berghoff's Nature Pack 1.00 to 1.00b! Here is a screenshot of the situation with Berghoff's Nature Pack (it's nearly the same with the Nogova Replacement) Could the solution be to patch the pbo manually? fl cool j 0 Posted September 7, 2005 How can I get the data out of the .exe then?
.kju 3245 Posted September 7, 2005 ehm mate - this is nogova replacement pack thread ?!!! edit: about your problem - maybe the patcher has problems on certain systems. maybe berghoffs is so nice and will upload a rar file with just the files ...
fl cool j 0 Posted September 8, 2005 Quote[/b] ]ehm mate - this is nogova replacement pack thread ?!!! And what's the problem? Â I wrote that the picture is just an example for the problem, after patching the o.pbo with the nogova replacement patcher i got the same problem, the filesize is too small. Murmur2k 0 Posted September 8, 2005 Exactly the same problem here with mine - the pbo created by the patcher is 51MB. Gives me errors when trying to load up the island, and crashes on OFP exit. Using latest versions of everything.
Commando84 0 Posted September 8, 2005 i don't know ifanyone has asked thisbefore but could you post a picture of the normal and one picture with the high version of the same area, place so people can see difference between the two versions btw tried the normal version now and it was very nice. Just maybe lags down my comp a bit but it does the job very good. i was playing a mission with some stuff in that may have helped cause the small lags
Murmur2k 0 Posted September 8, 2005 Hmm - just realised - I downloaded the preview version by accident instead of the final version - that could be the problem. Now I have the problem with the RapidShare site that won't let anyone from my proxied ISP to download files from there  Could someone provide a mirror to the final versions please? EDIT: Nope that wasn't the problem - still get the same errors and everything. 50mb PBO
Murmur2k 0 Posted September 11, 2005 Think I found the problem - My C: drive was too low on space to enable the file to be properly unpacked and packed.
fl cool j 0 Posted September 11, 2005 Too bad I got enough space.
Murmur2k 0 Posted September 11, 2005 FL Cool J - also try running the patcher within the same directory as the O.pbo - thats what I just did when I got it to work.
fl cool j 0 Posted September 11, 2005 Unfortunately that's not the solution, "O.pbo" is 50,6MB and "O.pbo.bak" is 173MB.
