Guest The Cobra Posted July 31, 2005 More "Kambodja" then "Jungle"... Though Kambodja has jungels too... I think...  Nice anyway.. Now you just need that white/yellow stone texture with some cracks in, and voilá, you got a very nice object
Desert-Rat 0 Posted July 31, 2005 hehe i though more on a grey green because that looks more after a Aztec temple Quote[/b] ]Matt Rochelle Posted on July 31 2005,21:35ah a temple now we can worship our god you pray to Quetzalcoatl?
DBR_ONIX 0 Posted July 31, 2005 Nice model, but a lot of the models.. objectyness (had to make up a new word.. ) will be from the textures. If their done half-heartedly, it wont look good at all, but if their done okay, it'll look great - Ben

brat 0 Posted August 1, 2005 Some textures look like from SOldier of Fortune
Chris Death 0 Posted August 1, 2005 Some textures look like from SOldier of Fortune 2 Which one you mean? - I can only see one texture. @Desert Rat; You could try to apply the textures different (like rotate them here or there, or v/h-mirror. That way it will look like you were using more than one texture and this would also help a little bit for what Jaguar mentioned (they look maybe a bit too tiled). else - good job ~S~ CD

Desert-Rat 0 Posted August 1, 2005 well i will make it some chane on the upper temple too and if i rotat it than it wouldn't look that good because the stones are mor in high then lenght i built it after this one i will do some other buildings like other temples (the Aztec had a lot temples :P ) and some house ruins and statues  they loved jaguar statues and skulls thats a "Jaguar warrior" Statue

Desert-Rat 0 Posted August 1, 2005 OK here another Temple and here the updated version from the first changed the stair textures (from ravensoft)
Guest The Cobra Posted August 1, 2005 Very nice Maybe some green parts on the stairway to?
Chris Death 0 Posted August 1, 2005 OK, rotate 90 degrees will not make sense because of the stones i understand, but then you can still click on the mirror-x or mirror-v to get some variants Also you can try apply the textures in different heights if you know what i mean so that e.g. stains are not everywhere on the same height. Also what comes into my mind is: if you do like you say - make more stuff like that, maybe this link to Dave Guerra's textures from Blade of Steel can help you lot; I found them all good, but most are not useful for my middle eastern project. Dave Guerra If you check out the site you'll see what i mean ~S~ CD
