This for sure was just a phrase used to comment about

this project in the right language for it.

Everything else was in english, so that people who don't speak

anything but english can understand.

I'd understand your post if Geocider would have written

everything in swedish, but in this case your post is more

a waste of time (no offense meant).

well, as we are cooperating with SFP (swedish forces pack) we dont have any soldiers yet becouse they have made soldiers with the correct equipment for our era, so we´ll simply use their models and weapons (though we are not allowed to change their configs so we have to make our own that requires their stuff), sadly, we wont get the stuff untill SFP4 is releaced (wich should be soon they say)

so the SCWC mod is more like a "branch" from the SFP mod wich adds some "new" stuff along with the stuff they have made.

there for you will be able to make either 21st century missions with the SFP tagged stuff in the editor, or 1980´s era missions with the SCWC tagged stuff, though much is actually the same stuff (but with different tags)

sou you could say that we both have and dont have soldiers yet.

during the wait we will focus on making a island (or maybe more, time will tell), objects for it and missions to go with it.

the island pics in the movie is from the island losely representing a part of the Stocholm archipelago (means a few bigger islands and a lot of small ones, some not bigger then a pice of rock breaking the surface)

IF we make a campaign it will as you all understand represent a soviet invasion that didnt occur.

geocider, you are welcome no matter what your skills, everyone is welcome to make a try.

Just to answer mister SFWannabe... I did translate "inga gubbs än" to "no groundfighting geezers yet"... I figured just "geezers would look odd so I added the groundfighting... So don't come saying I hid something from ya.

And to shadow; I didn't know that the SFP4 would include cold war era units. I guess you learn something new every day.

And I'll see if I can learn texturing or 02... If I manage to learn basics or whatever I'll send you a little mail or something... I won't promise anything... the last time I got tired of the whole thing after my first blowback... I'm just too bloody lazy sometimes.

So, everyone might wonder what we have been doeing lately?

well, first of all we have mad a small change of direction due to lack of help (still only me and hornet making anything).

the new direction is that we first of all concentrate on making a campaign for SFP (Swedish Forces Pack), for this we make a custom island (may be more later on) using a lot of custom objects.

though the whole island editing stuff is still in learning progress it´s starting to turn out nicely.

myself im making the first mission of the campaign (still very alpha stage on that one, final version is likely to be totally different from the current version, all depends on how the island turns out)

BUT, we are still in huge need of help with some small things, mainly texturing since that is one thing neither me or hornet is very good at.

so, please, anyone that wants to try to help us, please call (send a PM) to me or hornet.

you dont need to have any skill at all as long as you want to try.

yes, but we will also make some own stuff that hasnt been mad by SFP.

yes.

though, as every other mod we cannot make a 100% guarantee that this will ever be releaced, with just 2 men working on it it will go very slow.

but we can say this, the eventual releace will NOT be before the releace of ArmAs.

todays news....

a few weeks back my partner in SCWC Hornet disappered without a trace and that makes me alon on this "mod" now...

since i do not have any modeling skills i cannot make any addons at all, and Hornet had most models.

so regretfully i have to declare SCWC as dead unless someone with the right modeling and texturing skills is willing to help me...

it doesnt matter if you´re swedish or not as i will help in finding materials that you can use as reference when making the models.

so.. if noone has offered help before the weekend, SCWC is officially dead. (it was a short ride that maybe was doomed before we even started)

I wish I could help but all my tries to become both texturer or modeller have been in vain. I kinda hoped I could help out with this one but sadly I haven't got what it takes.

well... semi complete configs, no textures and only about 50% finished models....

so sadley, i cant relase anything....

i wonder though what has happened to Hornet85... everyone i have spoken to sais he just vanished.. he never said anything.. though he talked alot about French Foreign Legion... bu atleast i thought it was just a joke...

oh well... it was a short journey...
