OilAddon1 by Flashpoint_K & raedor

Finally we finished it. After some testing on the Workshop it is now ready for release.

The OilAddon1 brings a lot of new objects and functions to the game. Some demomissions are in the download to show the most important functions.

The most important objects are the oil turrets, animated pumps and the oil tanks.

i would love to use the addon for oil/gas fields in afghanistan, but doesnt it take more load on the cpu/ram when placed in the editor, compared to be inserted directly on the islands through the appropriate program? (i could live with the objects shown in the radar, since i would concentrate objects to a single oil field)

well, if you put it as island maker on the map, everyone has to load them and has to have them in their ram, even if the mission is somewhere else on the island. but you're right, if it is set in the island editor it does affect the cpu/rum less.

well i was planning on making my first island anyway, since the island i am planning will be a north african themed island (Libya) this addon is exactly what i need to give the island the right athmosphere (along with the other great building addons available on the mapfact site notworthy.gif )

but that will take alot of time i guess, since i will be starting from zero and will teach myself while i am at it, so i will try to add these great models to a mission in the works and will see if the mission can handle the load wink_o.gif

Hey, now you could update your Nogova with this great Oil Addon and make island even beeter than Is.

It is great addition to built and make missions in editor tnx. biggrin_o.gif

I must be missing something because it doesnt work!

wy is ther a M2 mg in the static smugler tanker?

put the tanker in the water, it should be ok then wink_o.gif

use the keep height piplines if you want to set it by hand. but the pipebuilder script is faster and i think also easier to use... readme wink_o.gif

Yea i also had the proplem with the smuggeler tanker, also notice in that picture a section a of the stairs is missing, but u can still walk on it. Just a texture thing i suppose. Also the non smuggeler tanker has this stairs issue as well as in the same room one the walls being see through from the inside..

Other then that, Great stuff!

Edit: Actully the stairs is fine in that pciture now i look at it harder, strang in my OFP where that M2 is the stairs is also missing, but u can still walk where the Stairs 'Should' be.

Edit2: After further testing the M2 is in the right place when on water.

that's a LOD problem, your ofp does not switch to the first LOD. try to put down your FPS in the video options. and increase the visual quality.
