All i've been hearing about are European release dates, with no mention of a US/Canadian shipping date anywhere. Anyone have an answer for me?

No release date has been mentioned, only an estimate quarter. This is meant for the global release, unless specifically mentioned later on in the development process.

Yeah, I've only seen it quoted for European released. If thats the case, I'll just buy it on Ebay PCs are region free.

The problem is that if it dont come to Canada and U.S there will be less people playing aras( and this is bad) less people online.....The more people that buy it, the more money bis will put in game 2 or at least they will have  a good time with the money! (beer, sex ...games)  after having good time they will be able to work harder lol...(either way its good for us  and i have really high hopes for game 2

P.S Yes if it is only in europe ill buy it on e-bay too

Hopefully they will go with a big multinational like Ubisoft or EA, who have the clout to put copies on shelves the world over.

Codemasters had a very poor U.S. presence last time round and the game took a long long time to saturate the U.S. market.

It's notoriously difficult for European publishers to break the U.S. distribution side. I can't think of any EU company other than Ubisoft to actually do well there.

EA? Bah, I say... bah! Ubi has potential if they treat it right, but they have a mixed reputation. Get Atari to do it.
