32bit tga problem

Recommended Posts

Is there a prog that saves tga in 32 bit besides Adobe PS?

(which I had but no longer)

I still have PSP 8 and have tried all tga save settings 8,16,24 bit - compressed and uncompressed none of which work with O2.

Only 32 bit is good for alpha if that's what's you are looking for. PS has problems with it.

Yes there is a little program that handles it very well and it's free. Hurray.

GIMP.

PSP 7 does it - you have to save the mask to an alpha channel

(and save the tga as 24-bit uncompressed, IIRC).

Not got PSP 8, but I'd be surprised if it had changed - search the

help for alpha channel and/or masks.

I have tried the 24-bit uncompressed with no luck.

IIRC ?

Quote[/b] ]Check this, might help (haven't have enough time to try yet):

You suggesting the GIMP as Gordy did or the Adobe patch?

@ Gordy

Is there an install exe for GIMP?

All I get is a page full of folders and files
