Soldier turterials

is ther a turtorial on how to make soldiers?

have lookt around but cant find any i got alot of difrent type of soldiers made but i nead to set up the lods and all that but i have no idea how to plz help sad_o.gif

There are no tutorials on making soldiers, only some open-source models like the international soldier model and the BAS infantry kit smile_o.gif

ye i use a made soldier but i cant get the gear to be in right place ingame it looks realy ugly now crazy_o.gif

Show a picture want to see how it looks selection names are wrong I think or switched need to correct those wink_o.gif

Did you use ODOL Explorer on the original model? If yes, then the errors were caused by it. It screws some of the models selections up and they need to be re-configed in O2. wink_o.gif

yes i know that and i did fix it but the texture problem is stil ther and on the models i dident open whit any programs just O2 got the problems to but im working on it

man i tried making soldiers

i just ended editing most of the created ones

get ready for some headaches and long hours

From the screenshots it looks like your pockets/jacket belongs to no relevant selections. If you open a soldier and create a cube or whatever on the chest or wherever you want, any vertex that isnt in a relevant body part selection name will go to the ground.

The texture problem as it shows on your screen happens when you have faces in the same selection as the skin parts selections (is it oblicej ? i cant remember by memory.)

So what happens is : OFP takes whatever is in that selection and shift it to the face texture randomly chosen by ofp or by setface... meaning your faces placed by mistake in that named selection will also be swapped for a skin texture.

Hope that helps understanding the cause of the problem.
