Strapt 0 Posted April 25, 2005 Any help by addin paramete -nomap after your ofp.exe? I would also suggest running a memory diagnostic test of somekind..EDIT: like this [im]http://www.bistudio.com/Support/nomap.jpg[/img] I just tried to do this and it won't let me do it. It says the location doesn't exist. My version is the GOTY edition, not normal flashpoint resistance. Does that make any difference?
JdB 151 Posted April 25, 2005 1) the side panel is off my pc so it cant be getting that hotit at 46.5C at the moment nothing un usual there 2) what is BOSD? 1) Probably not the cause of you problem, but wanted to post it here anyway to other people reading this: Taking panels off of the case is not good. It actually increases the heat on the components, as the airflow is not optimal anymore. 2) You said it yourself in the topictitle: Blue Screen Of Death
Placebo 29 Posted April 26, 2005 I just tried to do this and it won't let me do it. It says the location doesn't exist. My version is the GOTY edition, not normal flashpoint resistance. Does that make any difference? You must have typed the shortcut wrong, it makes no difference if you have GOTY or Resistance, the executable is the same, you have a working shortcut to Flashpoint on your desktop? So just add -nomap to the end of the target, depending on your OS it may use "" around the location of FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE, so just add -nomap after the closing ", with a space of course Also please don't quote images
Strapt 0 Posted May 8, 2005 It seems there is no solution to the problem other than to uninstall the game and not play it any more. After a lot of to-ing and fro-ing of emails I sent the game to be tested. They reckoned there was nothing wrong with the game. Oh well.
