Anyone know how to turn DV on in ati cards..?

There is NO DV ON ATI CARDS. ATI doesnt need that cause their colors are superior to NVidia. DV is NVidia's technology.

ATI doesnt need ? then why are so many ATI users are asking for DV feature ? haha...

do you even understand what you just said...like "DV feature" is already on ATI cards by default..well, it just proves that ATI cards are messed up  biggrin_o.gif  biggrin_o.gif ..

By turning on DV you get picture which is not of original quality intended to be produced by game developers...instead, you get enhanced picture, which for some might look too bright and for others look good.. biggrin_o.gif  biggrin_o.gif

It's simple. People don't know what DV is and yet they believe it's some kind of magic feature. ATI doesnt need such features it already has better colors quality than Nvidia cards. Thats why Nvidia invented this DV technology. Simple.

and you're one of them..and you still don't get it...

I am not gonna start flaming here and making numerous posts..but just a side note - ATI driver development team promised to include such feature for ATI but they haven't done it yet...go read rage3d forums..

and DV has nothing to do with Nvidia vs ATI native picture quality - period!

Digital Vibrance just oversaturates the colours, I doubt you'd notice any difference between the colours produced by ATI and Nvidia chips default. If there would be big differences between cards they would more likely be caused by the quality differences in parts used by card manufacturers to filter analog output signals.

rage3Dtweak allows to modify a "colorfill" parameter.

it's an on/off option unlike DV that offers several levels of saturation. It is supposed to give a better color saturation in games, up to you to decide.
