raedor 8 Posted March 14, 2005 just "save as" and then put a paa behind it... isn't it?
hardrock 1 Posted March 14, 2005 just "save as" and then put a paa behind it... isn't it? yep, open ithe gif/tga, choose Save As then select "All files..." and type the full name including the .paa extension
llauma 0 Posted March 14, 2005 You also need correct size.. 64x64, 128x128, 512x256 etc.
beedee 0 Posted March 15, 2005 make sure that your source image dimensions are multiples of 2; for example 128x128 or 256x256. *.tga-images should have 32bit color depth (in photoshop terminology) or 24bit + alpha channel (paintshop pro), which is the same. To create a simple alpha channel in paintshop pro press [strg]-[a] and select "save to alpha channel" in the menu "selections" and confirm [OK], [OK]. (technically, the alpha channel is just an 8bit greyscale layer used as a mask for opacity, which paintshop's "select" function sets to "pure white 255" - which means fully opaque). For transparent textures select only the visible parts in the image and save them to alpha. then save the image and convert it with TexView as described. edit: llauma, you beat me a couple of minutes!
