Homefry 0 Posted March 3, 2005 Looks good... I take it the doors and everything are controllable via the action menu or similar?
gandalf the white 0 Posted March 3, 2005 "tried to pick M16 from humvee" *scrolls down like mad* *gets shot* !!!
Shadow NX 1 Posted March 3, 2005 Best idea would be to make it outomatic, when you get out or in it opens for a while then closes again, same for the trunk when you take a rifle or whatever from it
MC227 0 Posted March 3, 2005 At present doors open through the menu, but in the finished version they will open by means of scripts automatically!
-HUNTER- 1 Posted March 3, 2005 If you feel like going really nuts with openable things... you could animate the roofplate that covers up the mg pos... It is opened and then folded... Maybee another thing to consider... adding armour plates on the MG pos..
Big Dawg KS 6 Posted March 3, 2005 If you feel like going really nuts with openable things... you could animate the roofplate that covers up the mg pos... It is opened and then folded...Maybee another thing to consider... adding armour plates on the MG pos.. That would require two plates and two anims, one that opens, then setobjecttexture that one off and the other on, and then animate the fold.

grunt249 0 Posted March 4, 2005 How difficult is it to create placeholders within an addon that can "store" weapons? For example, when you drop a weapon on the ground you can see the weapon and not just those dumb boxes. I have also see a script that allowed you to place a weapon on top of a table or setting on the hood of a vehicle. Is there a way to do something like this with an addon, so that weapons placed inside the vehicle cargo will be visually displayed? Would be a nice feature, if not in this addon, at least in another one. The thought of opening the rear hatch and seeing an assortment of goodies like a SAW, M40, MP5, etc. just sounds cool, and would make for some very unique screenshots and cutscenes. Would also be useful for showing stored munitions such as extra TOW tubes or boxes of ammo. Your models look great so far, keep up the good work.
MC227 0 Posted March 4, 2005 Our command(DR CARS TEAM) will work above a similar script. Thanks, for new idea, in my opinion we can realize it. P.S. In this theme also I shall our models and not just HMMWV are shown all !!!

MC227 0 Posted March 5, 2005 Red Oct, I wish to borrow in them but only when I shall start to be engaged M1114 and M1116. Unfortunately by these two variants I have not enough photos. I ask the help on them!
Bobcatt666 0 Posted March 9, 2005 Well most of the other too many humvee packs had door that opened and closed and were taken out due to people bitching about the cluttered action menu. and the heavy scripts implimented in the units to simulate a correct M1114 and M1116. belgerot 33 Posted May 2, 2005 If not release then I'd love to atleast see a few more screens, looks great fromthe previous ones.
krycek 349 Posted May 5, 2005 Damn that looks sexy, can't get enough of these Humvees. Just a little suggestion, you should add some armor plates around those guns.
hmmwv 0 Posted May 6, 2005 you should add some armor plates around those guns. There are not armored turrets on humvees previous to 1995-96. These humvees are the old 1985-86 A1 variants (just look at the mirrors) used during Operation Just Cause in Panamá or during the first Gulf War, when the armored turrets for the humvees had not been developed yet. (Even the up-armored versions had not been developed yet in these years) These humvees are freakin´ awesome!
MC227 0 Posted May 7, 2005 To hmmwv! Since what year began to put tire covers Goodyear MT 16.5? Whether machine guns M240 and M249 Were put on series A1? When have started to make M1114, M1116 and M1113? If to eat give please the reference to the information on hmmwv with the good photos, especially to the second company in Iraq?
hmmwv 0 Posted May 7, 2005 Well MC227, here are the answers: A) Goodyear Wrangler MT tires are being used since the first 80s versions. Right now you could see humvees with another tires (spec-ops specially), but the MT are still used at present day. B)Common machine guns in A1 variants are the M249, the M60 and the M2 Browning. C)All the up-armored versions were introduced in late 1994 early 1995, and their first operations theatre was in Bosnia. I´ve lots of reference material about humvees (mostly in books/magazines) so i´ll see what do i have about the 2nd company in Iraq. If you need any other reference material just tell me. ;)
