cobra@pulse 0 Posted February 16, 2005 February Mag Released, get it here! Pulse Gaming February Issue 2005 Hi there everyone once again. Well, I have got a new thing for you all out there! Some of you may recall the PulseGaming e-magazine that me and my colleague Y2JON produced last August. It received very good critical acclaim and many people stated they would become regular readers. Due to time constraints, and R/L problems we never were able to continue it on a monthly basis. Well now, it's back! Expect a downloading link between tonight and Friday of the 30-page marvel. We would, however, like you guys to contribute, if possible, by writing a letter for the Letters page of this issue. If you can't immediately think of anything to write about, feel free to download the August issue and then discuss some of our material. Pulse Gaming e-Magazine (Late August 2004): Click to Download! You will be fully credited in the mag under your letter. So get writing on this topic! Â Cobra
Y2JON 0 Posted February 16, 2005 20 views and no replies. Slightly shocking! I'd have thought somebody would have taken the opportunity to have fun with this and type a quick letter in this topic about what we should include or how our last articles were. Even if you haven't read our August issue, simply make it up! Any help with this would be great and allow us to bring out the magazine earlier.
Placebo 29 Posted February 16, 2005 Don't worry we're just all overwhelmed to see <s>our favourite female wrestler again</s> you guys back again
Y2JON 0 Posted February 16, 2005 Don't worry we're just all overwhelmed to see <s>our favourite female wrestler again</s> you guys back again  Those picture links are still in the August topic! Any chance of writing us a quick letter seeings as you had a look at our last mag? Just a couple of lines, please!
cobra@pulse 0 Posted February 16, 2005 Hey there Placebo! Nice to see that you remember the good old mag. Well to all you people out there, the new mag is coming out, but we need your help. We need letters from this so that we can get interest from outside sources which would allow us to publish the e-mag alot more often! So, basically, to get a proper mag, we need your comments on it. So please help! Please.
Homefry 0 Posted February 16, 2005 I enjoyed it... the only thing I would really criticize is the hardware reviews... they weren't very extensive. Overall, I enjoyed it. Good job guys.
Y2JON 0 Posted February 17, 2005 I enjoyed it... the only thing I would really criticize is the hardware reviews... they weren't very extensive. Â Overall, I enjoyed it. Â Good job guys. Cheers mate. Just out of interest, were u a reader of the mag when we first released it in August or just yesterday from that link above? About the Hardware section of the mag, we always try to keep it to 1 or 2 pages. It's our own fault, really! For this issue and the August edition, we had around 30 pages crammed with Previews or 'Spotlights' on various forthcoming games, that we never seem to have much room left over. For the issue after this one, though, we are hopefully going to try and balance each section a little more, while keeping our regular editorials.
cobra@pulse 0 Posted February 18, 2005 Hi there guys. Well the mag is now complete! But we still need all those letters for the next issue so keep writing. I contacted Munk over at OFP central who so kindly hosted the mag for us last time, and hopefully we will have a fast host either today or tomorrow. So check the top post for edits! Y2JON 0 Posted February 18, 2005 We'd like to take this opportunity to thank Munk for all the help he's given us with our mag. This months fresh new issue has been sent to him a few moments ago, and should be owning his 56k upload transfer shortly! The file is also pending review on FileFront and so may also be available there. More news when we get it from Munk. Expect the mag very soon, although he has spent 12 days working. benu 1 Posted February 18, 2005 Maybe more people would read it if it was more easily accessible? I mean, i would exspect from a digital magazine that it can be read online, as in a webpage or an online pdf. To be redirected to a download site, having to download an archiv, save it to disc, open it and save the magazine and then start it from disc is just too cumbersome. MrZig 0 Posted February 18, 2005 It's true. The human race is a lazy lazy race. Perhaps make it so when we click the link we are directed to the webpage featuring the pdf without having to go through a bunch of links to download it?
Y2JON 0 Posted February 18, 2005 Very good suggestion. Would either of you be able to tell us how we go about doing that? I'm liking the idea already.

sanctuary 19 Posted February 19, 2005 I am way behind when it comes to gaming actuality, as the only "modern" game i play is OFP But i found this February issue of your web magazine to be a pleasant reading. Keep up such great work, it is really good
Munk 0 Posted February 19, 2005 For a free mag you guys make in your own time its top quality, had a quick skim through last night. I'd like to see more about OFP in the future (but who here wouldnt? ), maybe try and get some interviews with some mod teams (released+unreleased) Good job

We could incorporate a Mod Team interview within our OFP section, though, as it's hard enough trying to fit everything we want to say on 30 pages as it is! cobra@pulse 0 Posted February 21, 2005 Thanks for the interest guys. Like Y2JON said, we would really like to know what your faviourite parts of the issue wher and which ones you disliked, that way we can possibly incorporate more of what you liked, and less of what you didn't. I like the idea too Munk, I will try and get some interviews going for the next issue. Out of interest, who would you like to have interviewed and I will try and get in contact with them! One more thing, If you really liked the mag, and would like to contribute by joining the team, please send me or Y2JON a PM, or email at : INFO@PULSE-STUDIOS.TK Thanks

Y2JON 0 Posted February 21, 2005 Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Â It was my first time reading the magazine... I must have missed it the first time. Nah, that's cool. Hope you have a little perusal at the new February issue and enjoy it just as much, if not more. Some more feedback would be sublime aswell!
sanctuary 19 Posted February 21, 2005 Personnally, i liked the articles on the Metal Gear game, nicely wrote with very good sketches from the designers, sounded interesting. I would have hoped a bit more articles about <s>female wrestlers</s> Operation Flashpoint , but i understand that the gaming actuality is not only about OFP
cobra@pulse 0 Posted February 21, 2005 Cheers for the thoughts Sanctuary! Dont worry, we can make a special magazine if you want for your <s>female wrestlers</s> *cough* sorry OFP possibly at a latter date! Cheers for the responses btw people, we will have to try and keep this thread updated so it is easy to find for all people! (dont worry mods, thta doesn't mean that I will be bumping the thread) BUMP! Sorry
Munk 0 Posted February 22, 2005 Out of interest, who would you like to have interviewed and I will try and get in contact with them! Id like to hear from some of those generally quiet mods, the ones that release a screen once in a blue moon to remind us they're still here eg. Nogovan Armed Forces Project
