Befor you jump the gun it might be so simple as they have been inspired by the plenthora of VBS screens to do similar textures/models? But exactly what is it you think look like its from VBS Sniper Skull? Binoculars and NOD's?

none of that stuff is from VBS1. so no worries  

EDIT- lookling closely at it, it seems to have the VBS1 NVG, but then the guy may own VBS1, and thats is a VBS1 version is in the works, so no need to go mentle just yet
