Civil protection in OFP-Mod

Just for all who don't know what's going on: We're a german modification and try to construct some rescue-addons for Operation Flashpoint. Rescue-addons should mean cars and units from organisations like the fire brigade, the Emergency Medical Services and the German Federal Adgency for Technical Relief (THW).

We founded our mod a few days ago and a lot of members from at least two diffrent countrys joined it.

But we didn't find any Scripter! Is there any guy out there who is able to script for us? In most cases those will be particlescripts, like a water-jet from a branchpipe (I hope this is correct, because I had to use Leo).

But this doesn't mean that we don't need modellers or texturer (we still haven't any american or britsh firecars...).

never seen a winter island with high way, so it really seems to be at least an unreleased island.

that thing with those isles, is realy easy...

The one with the highway is that fin-mod winter island an I'd just build that road...

An the other one is Newland, that's correct! The mapper who construct it is in our mod, Jannes M-Sp.

My first thought was that the snow isle is form FDF mod,but rebuilt.

But then i thought that anyone wouldn't do that.Guess i was wrong.

I think it's an excellent idea, and I'm glad to finally see some more emrgency services in OFP.

I recomend that these units should be made as generic as possible, and not specific to a certain country. That way missionmakers will make more use of them.

These all look really cool, what scripts/features are under consideration? - it'd sure be nice to hose down a demonstration with one of those fire engines.

I dont know if you can, but if you could chose from a few national symbols to go on doors and stuff by typing something in the units init line, that would be cool in terms of making them more generic.

I tried to apply for the fire brigade once, in London so many people want the job its a lottery just to get an application form (literally)

Well at the moment we just plan to built german (and some other european) emergencyservicevehicles.
