Blake 0 Posted January 30, 2005 Anybody seen it? I think it was pretty good documentary 6-part series on decisive battles fought on British soil during the last 2000 years ( http://www.24hourmuseum.org.uk/trlout/TRA24330.html ). I especially liked the CGI-created recreations on battles and strategic situations. Bouddica's Revolt and Hastings were probably my favourite episodes, even though it's still almost beyond belief how 15,000 legionnaires can beat 200,000 charging British revolters on an open plain using saw-line formation... I missed 'The Armada' about 1588 Spanish attempt to invade, is it downloadable somewhere in DivX? Hoopefully there are more follow-up episodes coming and it would be lovely to see other battles fought in history brought live with similiar representation. -33ker 0 Posted January 30, 2005 I thought you were talking about this 'what if' documentary about the German invasion in Britain during WWII. They took secret plans from both sides and tried to make up how the battle would be and how the British would organize their resistance.
Bordoy 0 Posted January 30, 2005 Battle Field Britain was great. It was the way they showed you how it happens. The choice of battles are endless if they want to do another series.

Sounds interesting, anybody know what's the name of that documentary?
