Cell7's Bridge

I've released a bridge.......

There maybe a bug with the bridge. I have tried to cross it and before reaching the end I've fallen through it. The funny thing is it has'nt happened fefore when bug testing it. Let me know if you have experianced a similar problem.

About that bug, maybe you should check the geometry LOD...

Check the Lenght of it. i dont know what Max. was (I think 35 <- -> 35 || 70 Max. !)

Yeh. The bridge is over 70 long. May have to split it into two p3d models. Kept it as one length so to have one wreaked p3d version instead of two, worked better sad_o.gif

I know cos although i kept my length to 50m, i forgotten about the width which at certain parts exceeded 50m, and it was too late for me to do anything except to start all over again.

That being said, I think that the max is 50 meters.

Good Idea PB.

I have updated the bridge so it can be more usefull to mission makers.

The climb up, down ladder on the action menu works when you place the bridge on you map via "Mission Editor" but not when using "wrptool". Any sugestions.

By the way, on the update I have separated the bridge in two.

You'll have to use "named properties" in O2 and add a line in the config.cpp, I think Viewtower/building or something.

Thanks, but changing the property names did'nt work.

Not sure what line to put in the cpp though. Only have the ladder end, start line.

Wreaked virsion of the bridge works funny. After destroying the bridge from ground level it changes to default level and the direction turns to 0 degs. I'm concidering taking out the blown.sqs and blown.p3d file from the bridge pbo. Not pleased with the effect. Update coming out 2morrow as standard unless I've fixed it. crazy_o.gif
