MitchSchaft 0 Posted January 12, 2002 you're not the first to do so. I know someone who did the same with a chopper, but didn't go nearly as high as you did:). That must've taken a while. For anyone interested, that only works while using a joystick as far as i know.

Plane - just point upp, you don't need a joystick. I don't know if there is a limit of the altitude for planes, cause I've never tried to take it higher than 10166 feet. Thought they used feet in air... That chopper picture seems alittle weird, how could that be possible? And yes, it's possible you can go extremly high with the planes, but it'd take a while... Damage Inc 0 Posted January 12, 2002 It's easy when you get your plane to gain height without losing speed. Then you can get as high as you want.
Black Knight 0 Posted January 12, 2002 First you start off with your aircraft at any height you want using "SetPos" and if you wanna fly in that height even higher, then set the "AccTime" to like 200 so you can move 200 times faster than normal and fly

dazmorg 0 Posted January 12, 2002 I've seen god this way in a chopper, the sky turned green and I ejected, it took about 15 minutes to float down. It happened because I forgot I had a joystick connected with the throttle turned up to full ( I wasn't using it) it took me some time to figure it out. Most of them, if not all, goes up to 150 feet only (as long as you don't use my little auto hover trick i wrote down earlier in this topic).
EveronVetsAgainstTheWar 0 Posted January 13, 2002 You can also set their height in the Editor.
quibbly 0 Posted January 13, 2002 The chopper picture has been edited. That is not the real height. It really appears to be aroudn 180 feet. Copy the picture and edit with photoshop..you can see where it has been altered. Nice try!!! Quibbly
bangcraher 0 Posted January 13, 2002 Those who says that you can go as high as you will are wrong I think, because you have limited fuel. I know it goes not very fast away, but it does. I don't know if you can use a script who gives you unlimited fuel, but if it exists then I'm wrong
