something that would make mission editing 999 easy

Recommended Posts

Ok, does anyone know if it would be possible to just make a building map?. i mean like be able to see all the objects in the building. I am not very good at warp edit so i dont know if it would be possible to set the height of the sky, then make the textures of a roof. But i have really been wanting to make some inside battles, it would be great for new zombie levels. (You could even make a dawn of the dead mall!) I know i have been asking for a lot lately, and i would like to thank the operation flashpoint community for not pissing at me for being so "Demanding" but i am making a zombie campaign, i will most likely release a really sweet level that i have been working on for a long time. It should be out sometime soon.

ooo... If I understanded you right, then make it with O2, the addon maker. No, in WRPtool or Visitor, you just put the 02 created objects into right places... rock.gif

Ahhhh i see what you mean. Make a series of walls, doors, objects in O2. Then make one massive roof object (a flat plain), so big that it covers the whole map (it wont have a geo lod but surely its just there for effect?)

Place the walls and the like, then put the roof object a couple of meters above.

Its concievable. Dunno how the AI would take it.

mapfact has a bunker/building addon that might suit your purposes.

AI can navigate them quite well.

the prob with a huge object is that ofp cant really handle it

even if its just one polygon

it tends to dissapear when u look into certain directions

i did that with my id4 city destroyer which soem might remember, same problem

but the idea is good though

u can try making a tiled roof

that shoudl work better i guess
