belgerot 33 Posted November 24, 2004 I would be pretty happy to see an Antonov/PZL Mielec An-2 taking off in OFP. I saw a military version, damn beautiful and amazing in the air. It would be a pretty good private plane as well, if you would do any of the larger Boeings I would suggest the 737-400, a good lot of airlines use them. Guest RKSL-Rock Posted November 24, 2004 Aeroflot!!! Â some of the Ilyushin birds, IL-14 Crate, IL-18, and IL-78(that way you can also make a Mainstay) Â not to mention the always awesome AN-72 Coaler I take it you mean the IL-76 and A-50 Mainstay? They are already planned but are a long way off - same with the C-17 i have in devleopment. But I think Aeroflot and some IL or TU planes might be an idea...although that's something for the future. Yeah I like the Coaler but as Hellfish said Footmunch is doing the Coaler...so no need to pick that one up.
Shashman 0 Posted November 24, 2004 Anything Russian and old suits me Oh and I love the 727. Basically any aircraft from that era (late 60s to early 80s). I don't think all these OFP islands, being pretty small, would require such aircraft as A340s, 767s or 747s and the likes. I think aircraft like the ATRs, RJ series and perhaps just one or two larger aircraft would be most suitable, but they'd have to be earlier models like 747-100/300s and/or A300/310. hellfish6 7 Posted November 24, 2004 I'd like to see an An-12, but that's just me being selfish. The Cubans and Angolans used them as recon aircraft and they'd be perfect for our mod.
Guest RKSL-Rock Posted November 24, 2004 I think this thread is taking the wrong direction...i was looking at airlines not aircraft...but i suppose atleast its bringing out a "most wanted" civil aircraft list. As for making larger aircraft...i already had the models from an earlier cancelled project so its not a big change to make them usuable for OFP. Although I think we're short a few decent aircraft from all ranges and types so the odd big one wouldnt go a miss...after all the AN-124 seems to be a popular addon and thats huge! I will be making the IL76 and A-50 at somepoint but i'm not really looking to add to my already huge list of projects. I'm trying to find a role for some of the models i already have that the community wants...after that we'll see
BraTTy 0 Posted November 24, 2004 Ahh well, lol. The best airport is the one with the nicest aircraft? Isnt it?
Lt_Phoenix 0 Posted November 24, 2004 I think this thread is taking the wrong direction...i was looking at airlines not aircraft...but i suppose atleast its bringing out a "most wanted" civil aircraft list. In that case, I'll just repeat my airline suggestion, since they probably got lost in all my aircraft suggestions: I saw there was some discussion around which airlines were to represented. I'd suggest a Nogovan Airlines and a Generic Airlines version (maybe with the possibility to add your own logo, similar to Footmunch's roundel system). Whichever ones you choose to do, I'd like to say that I'm really looking forward to more civilian aircraft in OFP Â
-ZG-BUZZARD 0 Posted November 25, 2004 Yeah... I've also looking forward to the release of the most-probably dead project of getting a LearJet ingame... a pity since FragMASTER's work was so advanced... having a Learjet-sized bizjet would be cool- no matter which airline it would be flown by... personally, Nogovan Airlines I think is one of the best to cover the OFP civ airline needs... it already has a nice release with FW200's retextured Beriev-32... BraTTy 0 Posted November 25, 2004 My most wanted airport has to be the USS Yorktown !
MSpencer 0 Posted November 25, 2004 AA and AE can be used. AA for small jets like MD80s and 738s, and AE for regional jets and Saabs.

T.S.C.Plage 0 Posted November 25, 2004 Just some ideas/thoughts... First is a civilian Mi-8 included in the CSLA2-Mod and last is the already mentioned Be-32. Don't open another new airline...Nogova has defnitly enough now. Greetz Plage
theavonlady 2 Posted November 25, 2004 Just look at those ticket prices! I'll stick to the ferry, or a BMP.
T.S.C.Plage 0 Posted November 25, 2004 Did I wrote US$, € or Pounds (sorry, the sign for the last is missing on my keyboard)? Anyways you didn't read the small lines the star "*" behind the prices refers to. It says "half price for OFP-Mommies and one kid under the age of 6 years for free". Ex-RoNiN 0 Posted November 25, 2004 Assuming that Nogova is somewhere in the Adriatic, it seems fairly reasonable to expect Alitalia and Olympic Airways to be flying there...perhaps even Aegean Airlines (Greek budget island-hopper airline)

Just a suggestion. To satisfy the global interest (or the lack of) of all OFP fans. Why not narrow it down to 3 categories. Europe Middle East Far East Just my 2 cents... theavonlady 2 Posted November 25, 2004 How the hell you come to the idea Nogova is somewhere in the Adria(tic) region!?! Because that's where the real Everon and Malden islands are. Search The FAQ for "real islands". Of course, Kolgujev is slightly askew to the side.........................
T.S.C.Plage 0 Posted November 25, 2004 I know that but they only took the geologic landmarks of these islands. I think it wasn't their intention to build mediterran looking islands for OFP. Of course Nogova looks more like an area in the former "Warsaw Pakt" states then "Adriatic". Greetz Plage
