lee_h._oswald 0 Posted October 27, 2004 No vote option for me. SST mod is a fantastic idea, but what I have seen so far isn't that breathtaking. (Sorry if that sounds rude, it isn't meant that way) What I would like to see first, is a high quality Mobile Infantrie Soldier with all the funny equipment they have in the Movie. - Rifle with that huge ammount of ammo. - That sniper rifle. - Those rocket launcher how fires that "nuke grenades". - other stuff they are using. Important for me is the model of those soldiers/weapons and the textures. The Mobile Infantrie should be No. 1 Addon to make high detailed. I mean finish them 100% first, then go to the next addon: Which should be the "normal" BUG. Most important here are the animations and textures. And don't forget the soundfx, VERY important thing! I think this is enough hard work, but most important units to have some nice/realistic(movie-like) battles. --- I don't care that much about dropships, brainbugs, the Roger Young and other stuff. MEDICUS 0 Posted October 27, 2004 Lee is right. I think the most important thing for your mod will be the Mobile Infantrie Soldiers+Equipment and the "Bugs". Objects etc aren't that important at the beginning, but truely a nice "add on" to the units. I, personaly, would really like to play it. I think the basics, like the soldiers, their rifles and basic arachnids should be made well before moving on to other stuff, they could use some more works from the last version...the bugs should also be faster.
