DarkLight 0 Posted August 21, 2004 Statistics blame the Africans, there are more cases of HIV in Africa than anywhere else on earth. It's not like it's strictly their fault though, there isn't much safe sex education in 3rd world countries. The biggest cause in MEDCs for the spread is people having unprotected sex when they've been educated otherwise, whether they're homosexual, heterosexual, black, white whatever. Bordoy 0 Posted August 21, 2004 Well, anal sex causes more "wear and tear" so HIV is probably bit more prone to spread amongst homosexuals. Wear and tear isn't that important you know. Â When you have sex and in one way or another HIV postive blood, sperm, etc comes into your body the chance that you'll get HIV is big. I say big, because tiiiiiny amounts of HIV can be destroyed by your body... So don't start freaking out when you got a bit of blood of an HIV positive person on your arm. Â Sure you gotta avoid situations like this, safety first of course. Â After all, this is your life that we are talking about. Safety is always important as long as we don't start discriminating HIV postive ppl because we are scared of them... Â We shouldn't be... Anyway... What you are saying is right, anal sex can damage your body, damaging your body means that you might lose blood, blood can be HIV positive. But that doesn't matter. Â If you have HIV, it doesn't matter if you have anal sex or normal sex (i don't know the english word for that ). Â As long as your partner doesn't protect him/herself by using a condom (if male of course ) your partner will get HIV too. So basically it doesn't matter if you're gay or not. Â If you have HIV and you have unprotected sex then your (girl)friedn will get it too... Can you get it if someone (who is HIV positive) spits in your eye? because thats an entry to the body?
