King Kong 0 Posted January 7, 2002 I got cable, with no datalimit or speed limit. I mostly get upload speeds at 500 kb(uncapped ofcourse) and download at 700 kb.
Mister Frag 0 Posted January 7, 2002 King Kong, those numbers seem quite low for uncapped cable, even shared cable.
King Kong 0 Posted January 7, 2002 I find it pretty fast since my node supports 30 people, i've got FUP(Fair Use Policy) shared internet via COAX. I have uncapped my upstream limit with a program called fuckUPC wich only works for LanCity modems. BTW my DHCP server only has a T3 speed so i can't get faster then this
King Kong 0 Posted January 7, 2002 My ISP wants me to replace my LanCity with a Motorola surfboard. LanCity(made in 1996) is 3 years older then the Surfboard (1999 ofcourse) I prefer quality instead of speed, all products from Motorola suck.
